Get’s the job done

I primarily use the computer home for music editing. These applications tend to tax processor and RAM. this laptop has enough resources to get the job done until I can find something more capable at a reasonable price. The processor and RAM packaged with this machine are sufficient for what I do. I am not a gamer so I cannot comment on that aspect. If you are looking for a fast office productivity machine, this will do nicely. Not sure about battery life yet but charging takes a while. Of course if you have more apps running, it makes sense so the battery will drain faster. The back lit keyboard is also a nice feature but I have still to configure the display since it shipped with Windows 11.

Good gaming laptop.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Can run most games I've tried. Speaker isnt very loud but I don't need a loud speaker anyway. Display is crystal clear and the construction is durable. I don't have any complaints.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this as my first "major" laptop--that is, not used and with the capabilities to run 3D CAD programs. It was great for the first year or two--then the screen started freezing and glitching, but it was somewhat rare, lasted only a few seconds, and was only a visual glitch. Then, the sensor for laptop mode vs tablet mode failed and now I have to manually disable the drivers to be able to use my keyboard, as it randomly stops working upon a restart! After years of using Acer, I realize now that it was a mistake to switch to HP! If you want this laptop, make sure you only want it to last one or two years; otherwise, get something else.
