i would have liked to have a number pad on the keyboard

Entry-level laptop. Nothing to wow over. It gets the work done. If you can spend extra go with a better laptop and more memory.

Not as good as I had hoped. Should have considered other options.

I purchased this laptop in December of 2024 and the motherboard is broken. Additionally, the item remained in the box until March of this year. This means the item is defective.

Garbage. Hardware failures, blue screens of death, have to crash the pc to get it out of sleep mode. Have had 4 sessions with HP "Support", watching them fumble around remotely, repeating each other's work, resetting my pc to factory, wasting hours of time. Rather than offer to swap the pc out, they wanted me to send mine in for repair, which would take two weeks, and they would give me a loaner. PCs aren't like vehicles. It takes two weeks to just get the apps installed that you use regularly. Last time I buy an HP.

Kept getting a bios error. Crashed a lot. Best buy could not fix ended up returning and getting another laptop. The return was problematic. I purchased on sale and it was not on sale when returned, best buy said I had to pay the difference even though it was an even exchange. Ended up getting a "voucher" to purchase a new laptop. Had to wait several weeks for sale to purchase new laptop. They will have to be the only option before I shop at best buy again.

Didn't last. 6 mo after 1 yr warrenty ended will not boot up. I have barely used it.

In for service in the first 30 days. Wasn't covered.

Loved this laptop until I got the blue screen of death. Was also freezing up. I did everything I could to fix but no good. I took back in and got a replacement from Best Buy. They were very helpful.

Stopped coming on after just 1 week of use! Had to return! But for the time I had it it worked good!

I really like this computer--so far. Haven't had enough time to put it through its paces, though.

I purchased TWO HP computers on April 27, 2025. One works well, the other has been in Geek Squad store 3 times, and had virtual assistance three times on phone and computer. It is still not working well. Pop ups still coming up and will not stop. I think it should be replaced. How do I go about getting it replaced?

Just purchased this computer on October 6 for my daughter for college. Windows does an automatic update and computer crashes. She brings it to Best Buy to see what can be done. They told her that they can fix it...$150.00 and its just bad luck that this happened. Sorry but I have spent lots of $$$$$ at best buy. The computer is still under warranty but not for this issue. I think its time to give my $$$$ else were. And to think I almost bought another computer like hers Sunday. Glad I didn't! Buyers beware...

Ok. Not as easy to use as my old Samsung. Very confusing with signing and one drive.

The only issue I have with this computer is the fact that it does not have a numeric keypad. Totally my mistake for not noticing this fact. Since I work with numbers almost all the time I find it really challenging using the numbers of regular keyboard. I really wish I could switch it back for another unit.
