    Sometimes the computer goes into “sleep” mode due to inactivity and will NOT respond no matter how many buttons you push. The screen remains black. Its so annoying and it takes an unreasonable time to become responsive again.

    Microsoft Start is vampire bloatware

    There is no way to remove Microsoft Start, and to remove the unwanted information feeds that lurk in every window. I can't use the computer I bought, which is why the rating overall is POOR. I used to trust HP but this Microsoft Start makes it impossible for me to actually use the computer. It needs to go away forever! If I can't get rid of Microsoft Start, I think I will trash the computer and never buy another, and just live with the failing hard drive on my old machine until it dies and then resort to using the library machines when I must.

    Audio is not functioning. Contacted geek squad 3 times for help with the matter. Still no audio.

    The keys are too sensitive. If I hoover over the key pad while checking my email it will erase an email that I haven't read yet.

    I bought an open box that was supposed to be in great condition.. The screen dimmer function didn't work. Gerk squad was going to take 12 days to be able to look at it beyond the return date. When I went to buy a new one, it was no longer on sale and $400 higher in price. So much hassle because somebody signed off on a computer that didn't work well. Aside, from the screen dimmer, it seemed like a great laptop

    computer had sound issues from day one. it was even worked on remotely by hp and it still only worked for a few minutes and then no sound again. this seams to be an ongoing problem with the hp envy

    I got a defective product. The Bluetooth connectivity was bad. I tried to exchange it, but the exchange product was never shipped. I am disappointed with Bestbuy customer service experience.

    Nice laptop in box, problem with Bluetooth, under warranty they couldn’t fix it , Best Buy too , returning it to HP after days of calls and waiting, bad customer support.

    My daughter had this for 4 months then it wouldn’t turn on. Took it to Beat Buy and got it back 3 weeks later. A week later it won’t turn on again

    The little young girl who rang me up for my laptop enrolled me in a recurring annual charge without telling me… You need to start training you’re employees correctly especially when you hire kids to work.
