    Bad Support from HP

My review is not about BestBuy or the Computer itself. The computer worked great and blazingly fast for 2 days. Then the sound was gone. HP requested I send it in for repairs. It has been shipped from one HP repair facility to another. I'm unable to get the location or status of my repairs from anyone at HP. HP Forum has numerous Posts of Computers being lost. I can recommend the computer based on its performance as long as its working. If it breaks, pray to God, you don't have to send it to HP for repairs. My situation has extended beyond BestBuy's 15-day Return Policy or I would return it for a refund or replacement if I had it back.

It's a very nice looking all-in-one. That's as far as I will go. I really liked this computer, but I found it has one major flaw- HP Customer Service. It's non existent and there is no way to get in touch with a live agent. My screen started (and is continuing) to have random flashes on the screen and then the screen would go from black, white, red, green. I was concerned and tried to get in touch with HP, but kept getting bounce back on their site. Tried the phone number, same thing. It was highly frustrating considering I paid over $1700+ for this desktop. I then took it to a shop in my area where they ran every stress test on the computer. Nothing was wrong. The problem? The LCD screen. Okay, fine I'll get it fixed... nope! HP doesn't sell that part. So I'm stuck with buying a whole new computer all due to the screen? Yup. As you can tell at this point I was extremely frustrated. So here we are, still no help from HP Support after attempting for weeks. Screen is getting unbearable to use and almost nauseating due to the continuous flashing and jumping on the screen. Would I recommend this computer? Maybe, if HP fixed their non-existent support and offer parts on a NON-DISCONTINUED computer that they are still charging over $1700 for. I would tell you to stay away from this computer. Sure, it looks great on your desk, but you'll end up paying more in the end once something goes wrong. I've only used HP's for the home and now I'm not making that mistake again. We have 2 more HP's in the home that are within warranty that I will be returning due to this.

I had an expensive HP ENVY all-in-one, like this one, only with an i-5 processor and 23" touch screen. I liked them machine when it worked. BUT, HP changed that. Their pre-loaded "HP support assistant" said the machine needed a BIOS update, which showed up on their program. That BIOS update was downloaded and the machine shut off and on like it should, and the the machine was totally inoperable since that immediate point in time. I called HP technical support, who offered no assistance other than "go to hp.com and buy another one that suits your needs", or "take it to a local repair shop and see what they can do". Other calls yielded the same results. It was their HP update for my machine, and they destroyed my machine and did not accept any responsibility for it. I will never buy, nor recommend, another HP product as long as I live, and they have had ALL my computer business since Windows 98 second edition came out about 20 years ago.

I decided to write a review about my computer from h*ll. I'm currently on the best buy website looking for a new computer. I have had to reach out to geek squad countless times since I bought it in May 2017. First the hard drive needed to be partitioned, whatever that means.... so a 4 day work job with geek squad. every now and again, when I turn it on, there is an ear-piercing beeping noise that forces me to turn it off. sometimes it takes days for me to be able to turn it on without that piercing noise. geek squad says the computer looks fine though on its last trip to the store last month where it also got an update before I took it home. less than 2 weeks later, I am unable to open some programs but instead get a window that states "windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file". geek squad says it needs another update. These are only a small fraction of the problems I have had with this computer. best buy won't allow me to say the word h*te so I will say i dislike this computer greater than anything else I have disliked on this planet before . I will never touch another hp product.

Sorry to say that after only 2.5 years of use, this graphics card says its corrupted. That's quite a chunk of cash just melted away.
