There was nothing wrong with my old all-in-one except that I had to be sitting right beside it and I had to connect the cable every time I needed to print . With this one, I just turn it on, go to wherever I'm working, and send documents whenever I feel like it. It's sleek, quiet, and REALLY convenient--especially when you work on a laptop and don't stay in one place. Other terrific features: affordable printer with affordable ink, very easy set-up, smaller than other all-in-ones, fine quality printing, several touchpad options. I also wanted a decent scanner, and I haven't used this function yet. (That's why I didn't give it five stars.) All in all, I'm very pleased with this unit, and I'm ready to pass our old Lexmark all-in-one along to somebody who needs a working printer. (That one has been cranking reliably for more than ten years!)

There are so many things I love about my new printer! 1. I love how simplistic it is! It's lightweight and not bulky at all. No separate tray for paper loading that can malfunction. So simple to use! 2. Super easy to install and print. I didn't have to press any buttons or fool with any wires. I just entered my purchase information on the website, it connected via my "device sharing" and my wi-fi directly from my computer to the printer. 3. I LOVE the HP Instant Ink program! It's totally genius!! I am a college student, a wife and a mother of 3 school-aged children. It seems we are all the time running out of ink and always at the worst times! The times that we can't afford ink, of course! This program will ensure that we are never subject that issue again! 4. Print quality is awesome! My son made some copies of a color picture that he had drawn at school with markers and I honestly could not tell the difference between the original and the copies! That is amazing! I had done a little bit of research before getting this printer just to make sure it wasn't a total dud, however, my biggest priority was the ink program. I did not realize that I was getting such a great printer, too! And this model is also the cheapest of the ENVY line and/or models that are Instant Ink compatible. I HIGHLY recommend it!

It's hard to really review a printer that does it's basic job. I like the fact that it has borderless printing for when I print out my photos. It's wireless feature allows me to print from any of the multitude of devices that I have around my house. The print quality it's self is very good. I have yet to get a paper jam even with some sketchy old printer paper. The scanning bed is very nice and allows me to scan directly to all the computers around my home. The only real downside that this printer has is that it's footprint is a little bit bigger than I would like. I have room on my desk for it, but it takes up a lot of the free space that I had.

I really like this printer connects fast easy to use iPhone compatible prints fast and very nice looking so far so good the only thing I didn't like was for some reason its super picky on what paper I can use I tried using a cheap brand from Walmart and the paper would get jammed then I purchased a better quality paper from target and problem solved weird idk if everyone had same issues but other than that love it

This printer was very affordable. Printer is very compact yet prints, copies and scans. It was easy to install. It is physically connected to my computer and set up wireless to my laptop. It works great. Last night I printed four pictures. They turned out fairly good. I am eager to see if the pictures stay as vividly colored after a good three or four months. I recommend purchasing this printer if you are on a budget yet need and want a decent printer.

I replaced a behemoth, ink-sucking Canon Pixma printer with this svelte HP Envy, and so I'm glad I did. It was important to me to retain the all-in-one features, especially scanning. I regularly print word documents, coupons, and occasionally photos. This printer handles them all excellently. The wireless connects to my laptops and iPhone with no problems. I also appreciate the HP Instant Ink service; it's super convenient and the low monthly cost works better for me. Printables are fun but mostly a novelty. I have a few subscriptions, but you have to weigh that against depleting your ink faster. All in all, a great printer for your home office or personal use.

Easy set up, perfect size for a counter or a desk, and the refill cartridges are affordable. It was exactly what I expected and needed and I can print from my cell phone or lap top from anywhere in the house. Great purchase and economically priced. Can even print photos.

Got this on sale for half off. Excellent product and it comes with ink. It was really easy to set up which was the best part. The printer itself is small and sleek so it doesn't over power our office desk and looks nice and modern. Great buy for a great price.

This All-in-0ne was a great value. Caught it on sale and it fits our home office needs perfectly. We can print from any device, phone, tablet or pc. And the new ink program sends ink right to your door. Compact and quiet. Even full color pages print very quickly.

This is a great printer, compact and perfect for my home. I needed a printer for my home but I do not have a dedicated office or work station at home. I work with a laptop and needed a printer with wifi. The printer was really easy to set-up with wi-fi and to my surprise has the efficient option or printing and copying on both sides of the page. This is especially important if you don't like to waste paper. I would highly recommend this printer especially for it's simple set-up, wi-fi and ease of printing on both sides of the page. Another great option is when you scan documents, the printer gives you simple options of saving straight to your printer and you don't need to search or other software or folders to find your scanned document. I would give this five stars but I have only had it for a month and don't know it's durability or price of ink as of yet.

This is a good printer for my purposes. I wanted an inexpensive wi-fi printer for use by my wife and guests. It is easy to setup. Has good print quality, easy ink replacement and a fairly small footprint for the functions it performs.

This printer is exactly what we wanted - an easy to use wireless printer. No complaints so far, but we haven't really used it that much. It's sleek and compact, but still provides good printing and a nice scanner surface.

So this is the first printer I have that prints your paper with a sort of floral scent- which is nice because...well it's just cool. Anyways- it was easy to set up. I got the monthly ink cartridges sent to me but was a bit sad I wasn't able to get a free one (directions to get it was too confusing so I gave up). I rated this 4 out of 5 because it was wifi only - WHICH IS GREAT ... BUT the setup for each computer/laptop to print takes too long and I still can't get my sister's to get set up. If there was a USB cord that connects the printer to the laptop that would be nice.

Great buy for the price. Easy installation, easy set-up, wireless feature works well. Quality is good for the price. I would recommend for home use. For the price it is great but of course quality could be better but unless you want to spend hundreds of dollars this is an excellent purchase. I am not in need of top quality and if I was I would be looking at products of over $500 plus, so for the purchase this is a great quality product. I figure at this price I can afford to utilize and replace in couple years without worrying about holding onto an investment. Just buy it if your debating as if you read this far it is in consideration and I can say its a good purchase.

I haven't had this long enough to put it through all its paces, especially as to how it consumes ink. But I thought it set up pretty easily and connected to my home network with ease. The print time has been fine and I have not had any print errors to this point. It essentially has a nice look to the page, it hooked up easily to all my wireless connected devices, including my smart phone, printed an a good speed and essentially helped me de-clutter my life a bit. All for a nice price (it was on sale). If you have normal home printing needs, and want to get rid of printers or scanners as well as all the cabling, I would highly recommend this printer.

Did not expect a lot for a printer this inexpensive, but needed on to replace an old monster for which printer cartridges have become hard to find (and expensive). Picked this one based on the promise of easy print from phone/tablet. I have tried other mobile print options and they have never worked to my liking but for this price, what the heck. Set up was easy - never even opened the picture book or the instruction guide. I used the USB cable option to the computer since I had one from the old printer that fit and just assumed it would be a more reliable connection but you can hook it to computer either through a wireless network or directly with the printers own wi-fi. On screen prompts easy to follow. the Disk that comes with the printer, after you load it, gives you the option of loading everything from the disk or from the web. I chose the web option as it promised to have the latest updates if any. Again no problem on the set up. HP does walk you through a lot of screens to get you to sign up for things and watch what boxes you are checking if you don't want email ads or data checking. One thing you will want to do is give the printer its own email address. You do this during the set-up and have to print out a special code from the printer you will type into a field. After all hooked up it prompts you to print off a test page then have the printer scan the page. The initial print quality was not very good but assumed that could be from ink that has been sitting in the box for a while. Ran the clean cartridge option and tried again and the print quality was very very good for a unit this size and price. You need to do the scan so it can fine-tune the print quality. Printer allows you to print, copy, scan. You can scan a photo or document to file, directly to an email or in TIFF format. The real star of this is the mobile printing option. You have to download a free app to phone or tablet and then you can print any document or photo to the printer from your phone one of two ways. First, you can connect to the printer over its own wi-fi connection (not sure what the range on this is yet, so far been right next to the printer) or you can send the doc or photo to your printer via the printer email address you set up. That way you can have something spit out of the printer from anywhere. Works great so far. It has two ink cartridges that are not very big. One for Black one Tri-color. Printer will take photo paper but have not tried that yet. Photos printed on plain paper look like.....photos printed on plain paper. Only negative I have run across so far is that you have to adjust print options (draft/normal/best quality, paper type, etc) from your computer not from the printer itself. Would be much easier often to just be able to hit a button on the printer for that. Other than that, nothing bad to speak of.
