The shipping of the printer came before the pc, and while I could get the printer on my wifi I loved the options on the pc. I do not sign up for the ink shipments as I don't print so many things, but I could see how it may help others. So far I have not printed out photos (ran out of paper) but everything else is great. There is a slight delay for the printer to wake up and print. Sorry, this is the first wifi printer for me and I don't know if that is standard.
