Not a very good printer

Since you're using the cartridges that came with the printer, I'd like to note that they're only used to set up the printer and supply ink for the first few jobs. When these setup cartridges are depleted, you'll just want to purchase normal ink cartridges for your printer model. Bad experience with Best Buy in Fort Wayne, IN

Several attempts to reload the software repeatedly failed. Then a message appeared and stated the device had a fault. I went to Best Buy and asked them to exchange it for a new one.They Said it was not their policy to do that. No printer should fail in a month. I was referred to an 877 number but got no satisfaction. I have now purchased an Epson. I have used HP printers for years, but no more.

Easy setup, but lacking a key feature

The printer's screen offers the option to scan with OCR to be able to edit text, a top reason I've stuck with. this brand. After a LONG chat with HP customer service, I was informed this printer isn't actually capable of doing that. In addition, the printing wasn't as fast as I was expecting for a newer model.
