Like HP products so wanted a smaller, more compact printer. Also wanted to be able to print my own pictures. This printer is great for printing, scanning, copying and photos. It is slower for copying and photos compared to my 5500 series of an HP printer. But works great for my home needs.

I’ve only had my HP envy 4520 about 4 mo. So far I really like it. I’ve never had a printer before, so I’m new to this, but it has printed everything very clearly. It’s reasonably fast and does everything I want it to do.

I am so glad I bought this printer it work perfect and can print from all my devices using wifi, best of all I got the 3 month free ink offer, no more worried about running out ink, great buy I will recommend this printer to everyone.

Extremely easy to set up and use. The only problem I had was if you haven't used the printer in a while it needs to be turned off and back on for the wireless to reset. I had a hard time figuring this out.

I love how compact this printer is and the fact that its wireless made the deal so much better, I had no problem connecting it wirelessly to my laptop or phone and it scans very fast! Overall great product!

This was a little confusing to set up, as of course, nothing comes with a manual any more. For example, I couldn't figure out where the ink cartridges went or how to get to them! But it works beautifully. Still can't get it to scan to my Mac, though.

Works well, easy setup. Store rep recommenced this to me and I'm happy he did.

This printer-copier-scanner does true duplex printing (both sides automatically without having to manually reverse and re-load the pages). The output tray extender extends automatically when you start to print. The ink cartridges include the print head, so replacing an ink cartridge will fix the problem of a burned-out print head due to running out of ink. The only problem I had during install was that I couldn't use the DVD; my Windows 10 system could see the files and folders on the disk, but wouldn't run the Setup program. Also, the Instant Ink program is only available to users that leave their printer connected directly to the Internet 100% of the time (I connect only with a USB cable for security reasons).

I bought this printer today, with minimal assistance as the store was very busy, and it was woefully understaffed. I waited 20 minutes for some help beyond a Google rep drinking a Mountain Dew who knew nothing about printers or basic customer service. It was reasonably easy to set up, and I had done my research online before purchase. Plastered all over the box and printer itself is "Save 50 % off ink with HP instant ink." A three month free trial is included if you sign up during set up. I attempted to take advantage of this during set up, and I was connected to the internet. Though this is a wireless printer, you can use a USB cable and I do. I double checked with the HP rep that was coming on duty as I was leaving that it worked perfectly well with a USB cable. However, no where during set up or in manual does it say that this is not available if using USB. Right after I asked the rep about using a USB cable, he handed me a flyer for the Instant ink plan. I made my decision based partially on ease of ink replenishment and cost savings. I shouldn't have had to go to online support to find out the limitations after I made my purchase.

Very good printer for the price. Like that you can print from your phone or connected devices.

Very easy to use and connect. Had to buy a new printer as my old one did not work with Windows 10. This printer connected very easily with no problems. Truly love our HP printer.

I am very unhappy with this product. We bought it in order to have wifi printing capabilities from our various devices in our home. We bought this one based on ratings & the HP name. The setup was difficult and after two months of working with it, we still cannot print more than one doc at a time without turning the machine off & on. We get error messages. A call to HP only ended up with them suggesting we live the printer within 15 feet of the router. Not an option In our home. I'm very disappointed.

Great printer! Highly recommend it and HP Instant ink if you do a lot of printing

This is a good, reliable printer, and even though it's not top of the line (and I got it on a great sale), it's a huge improvement over my 5-year old printer. Couldn't beat this for value.

Ink is affordable, print quality great, and can print front/back. Everything I wanted/needed for grad school. Would recommend!

Great printer that does everything I need it to do. Touch screen is very easy to use and the HP Ink program is a great deal.

We purchased for the home and two high school kids that print reports. Get the Instant Ink....well worth the money.
