I HATE THIS PRINTER
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my problem with the printer besides the fact that sometimes it sounds like it's going to break while printing. The quality of the prints is fine but I am spending WAY TOO MUCH MONEY on ink. This printer runs through ink like crazy. The fact that there is one ink cartridge for all the colors is such a waste.... say it's low on yellow, but blue and fuschia are full, you have to replace it all. Maybe if you don't use this for color prints the way I do this is not a problem but it would be cheaper for me to throw out this printer and just buy a new one which I'm probably going to do. I'm surprised I didn't read about this in other reviews.

Print quality is decent. Wifi doesn't work.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I tend to buy inexpensive printers and when they quit working (which they always do), recycle them and buy a new one. So I don't usually have high expectations from printers in this price range, and this particular one certainly did not exceed them. First off, print quality is good. I have not printed any photos on photo paper, but have printed a lot of graphics-heavy stuff. Been pretty pleased with that. Duplexing "works" except by "works" I mean it may or may not work, and will arbitrarily decide to grab a new piece of paper rather than print on the second side of the first one. It works about half the time, which means you really can't use it. USB connectivity is AOK but wifi doesn't work. The printer will say it's connected, and maybe 1 out of 10 tries to print to it will succeed. I've tried from two different computers, too - same result. I've been working on and programming computers since the DOS days, so I like to think I know a thing or two about them. Printers are evil pieces of demon spawn sent to Earth to torment us who just want a printout at 11pm and don't want to spend 45 minutes to get one piece of paper printed. And.... this printer does nothing to change my opinion. I'd say keep on looking at others f you were contemplating this model.

Basic printer, scanner, fax
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Using this printer/scanner in my RV. Hard to setup the scanner on a MAC computer. You need to ensure that when you do an add printer that it has a bonjour connection. If not you will not be able to scan to your computer. They also have to be on the same internet service.

Just a fantastic paper weight is all you'll get
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So i purchased a brother printer some time ago that was also garbage, after being fed up with it I went to Best Buy and bought this printer. The first one had some kind of manufacturing flaw where it doesn't stay connected to the internet. I took it back and got a new one, this one also is doing the same thing and won't air print unless you turn it off and restart it several times. It's a giant PO- S, don't buy it.

Connection is cr*p
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had a HP all in one printer before that lasted for 4 years until we moved, probably would have lasted longer. So, since i am in school full time virtually it is extremely important that I have an all in one printer. This one was on sale and did the minimal that i needed. BUT, It continuously wont connect to my home network. Like ALLL the TIME! Every day and multiple times a day i will have to shut it off, or shut off the wifi connection, and restart the whole thing just to get it to connect to the network. My computer and iPad says it is not connected and that is accurate, but at the same time the printer says it IS connected. Which is completely wrong. Recently it would not scan because it said it wasn't connected to a computer, BUT it would not let me try and connect to email after this. I shut it down three times and completely unplugged it for 10 minutes and it still would not give me another option or even try to connect again. HOW FRUSTRATING!!!!!!!!!!! This printer has literally made the most simply task take 50 times longer then it should. I had to take pictures and upload them to submit to my instructor instead of scans because of this piece of cr*p. What a fr**king joke. And no it is not my network because no other device EVER has an issue. Had to add stars because they think those are "bad" words, when i'm sure you know i'm actually saying much worse!

Decent printer for medium range printing
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A decent product for low profile printing. If you are planning to print a lot, select a higher ranger ink Jet printer

Price and use
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For the price with a computer cannot go wrong - only problem is quite noisy which is ok - but the main problem is the tray extender does not retract after printing or during shutdown.

Truth not Fiction
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. All I have to say is look at the reviews of this printer not just here but on other online sites this printer is sold. The one thing you will find is all the low rated stars are from people who have software/firmware issues. I have to admit as one who always looks at reviews before I buy I thought being the overall rating was 4 stars I'd figure I'd roll the dice and buy it. Well let's just say I rolled CRAPS! I have all the issues from not staying connected to network to not waking out of sleep mode. Then there is the load paper tray issue you get even if there is plenty of paper in tray. Then it locking up on the load paper screen and not wanting to refresh. Like I say it's a roll of the dice. So if you're a gambler then go for it. If not it's not worth the risk.

Good for the price.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Does what it's supposed to do. Sometimes my laptop and printer aren't always on the same page and won't connect to each other automatically. Works great otherwise!

"Paper Jam" continuous error message ... No Paper!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After a looong time towards the end of the setup process, I got a "Paper Jam" message that I couldn't get rid of ... even with help from the HP Support team. After a looong time with them, without success, they suggested that I return the item for a replacement.
