The controls on the front consist of only 3-4 'buttons' that don't say what they do. It's not that it's not easy to use, it's just that they don't have many options other than number of copies and to stop copying. It takes forever to start printing and has this ridiculous light inside of it that swirls and twirls and then the printer makes odd noises and chirps and whistles. Who needs a concert and light show, just start printing! The print quality is fair, nothing like my old HPs which worked without fuss and were much better than their new machines. I also prefer black to this off white nonsense. On the plus side the plastic is thick and sturdy, but I'm looking for an alternative at this point. Considering Epson

They helped install the printer. It printed one time, then refused to print anymore. I called the Geek Squad and they never answered my calls. I returned the printer to Best Buy.

So far it prints well but I have to print any pictures. Also, it does not switch off and is always on. This makes it faster to print, but I am concerned about the unit using more electricity and, possibly, the light burning out.

The paper feeder holds a lot more paper than I expected, and the smart feature on a regular print out prints on both sides for you instead of a 2 paper feed. You have to designate if you want a 2 per feed instead of smart printing on both sides. It takes up very little space on my rather large desk and the scanner works beautifully. For an ink jet unit its a keeper. Only thing watch out for loading the ink cartridge(s) there's a tiny purple plastic guard lock that could break easily when loading and unloading your ink, if done with too much force.
