Great for casual use. Runs out of ink quickly, so if you are looking to do lots of bulk printing (color and/or b&w), you're better off investing in a laser printer.

Great Compact Printer for the Price

Had it delivered to the porch and had not issues with the delivery or packaging. Setup was easy - just find a spot, plug it in, install app, and follow instructions. The print quality is good for printing out worksheets and standard text documents (have not tried photo quality stuff yet).

HP Envy 6000 not such a great printer

However, this printer drops the wifi network often and once off line it is very difficult to reset the printer and get it to go back on line. The lack of an on board screen to diagnose and correct problems is a poor design. The numerous patterns of colored lights and flashing patterns is not helpful to understand what is going on with the printer - i should not have to run back to manual and navigate several pages of color/flash patterns to figure out what the problem is.

I was printing 50+ slide PowerPoints for school and even in color, I was going through ink every week… this is NOT a high traffic printer by any means. This is just to have in your house and probably never use it. Also, you have to pay a monthly fee to ORDER INK FROM HP and they ship when your ink is getting low but you run out before it gets to you. DO NOT RECOMMEND.
