Great printer, weird setup system. Honestly, setup for this printer was a pain initially. Something about HPs new Smart Print App is glitchy. I don't think it is bad enough that you shouldn't purchase this printer though. The printer itself is very nice, the print quality is great, scans well. Now that everything is all set up it boots up fast, prints quickly, and I haven't had any other issues. But be aware that if the initial print setup isn't working, you may have to erase your setup progress and restart it. I looked online and it seems this is an HP Smart App issue, not necessarily defective printer. So it could happen with any HP printer by the looks of it. A YouTube video on how to fix the issue helped. You may not have any issues at all and in that case printer setup shouldn't take longer than like 10 minutes. It isn't complicated, but HP needs to perhaps take some time to improve their Smart Print Application.

So far no issues. Prints pretty well and quieter than my previous HP. Bought this for my daughter to print glossy Cricket stickers, but she hasn’t tested it yet. We’ll see.

This is a great printer,it is easy to set up and use Has good quality printing, fast,crisp.

The quality of this printer is overall amazing. It has good quality prints, and the design is satisfactory, however, the only issue I seem to have around the house is that it is forced to be put on wifi to print anything, and I would not have a problem with this, but because of how often it disconnects from the wifi, it seems to be a bit annoying.

My biggest concern was setting up this computer. The directions were easy to follow so set up was completed without issues. The printouts have been clear. Very pleased with this purchase.

a really great printer. not to big and doesn't take up a lot of space. easy to use and best of all, you can subscribe to their ink supply. printer monitors ink supply and orders automatically when needed.

Printer is outstanding and you can bypass the HP INK kit so do not be hesitant with regards to that issue. Ease of use to start and it is up and running. Add to this the amazing speed and ease that Best Buy offered with regards to delivery. AMAZING. That was the winner right there for me.

So far this printer has lived up to expectations. Full page documents whether they’re in color or just black ink are finished within seconds. It’s very easy to set up. I have my work computer as well as my personal and mobile phone connected to it. The replacement ink cartridges (64 series) arent to pricey either compared to 61.

Works perfectly and as intended. Wonder colors when idle and while printing and scanning. User friendly in terms (if manual was read properly). Has a great app that is user friendly as well, easy connection.

Good no-frills printer. It works well and is smaller than most other models-- good for a small area. Nothing fancy but fills my needs and the printing quality is good.

This printer is a good match for my needs. The set up was easy. Double-sided printing a breeze. Colors are crisp. The HP instant ink program ensures Ill not run out of ink. Highly recommend.

I have had the printer for 8 days...the first two days spent setting up, several times. This printer is one of two printers intended as a network printers (two PC's on a private network) and sometimes it is available. (The other printer is an HP OfficeJet Pro 8715 that has been in service a few years.) Still not sure of how to awaken either printer when it goes to sleep. One print job to the ENVY 6055 failed to print and efforts to awaken that printer. The printer was turned off overnight. The next morning when the printer (and PC's) were started, the print job (no longer needed) printed. Untimely and disappointing. There is a dearth of information about why HP SMART cannot (or does not) awaken a printer that is deemed to be offline (I suspect just not communicating with the new wifi (dual band) that is on continuously). Nor did turning off and back on cause the printer to be recognized. Restarting the wifi is not practical nor desirable if that is what might be recommended. Simply sending a print job does not work immediately. Turning the printer off, waiting 30 seconds and turning back on, did not tip off HP SMART that the printer could be contacted. Overall, the printer works well as long as HP SMART recognizes the printer is on line.

The device is ok its hesitates during wireless connection to print. It also goes into sleep mode and has to be unplugged and plugged back in to start the printing process at times

Printed set up was easy and quick. Prints well. No issues with wireless printing. Comes with only enough ink to print a couple pages. Replacement ink is outrageously expensive!

Overall this is a really good printer for the money. Rather quick printing, two-sided printing, scanning, and fax from HP’s desktop and mobile app. It offers WiFi printing, Apple AirPrint, and Android’s mobile print so you basically can print to it from any device you own. The only real negative I can say about it is HP instant ink and being tied to HP ink through firmware updates to the printer. Depending on how much you print Instant Ink may be cheaper than buying cartridges, but for me it wasn’t. If you rely on after-market ink or refillable ink cartridges you’re SOL as the printer will recognize they’re not genuine HP.

This purchase was a replacement. It was a great price, compact printer and the ink cartridges are less expensive than the printer I was replacing. A win all around.
