This printer is slick design, easy to setup and not taking too much place.

I have had the printer for 8 days...the first two days spent setting up, several times. This printer is one of two printers intended as a network printers (two PC's on a private network) and sometimes it is available. (The other printer is an HP OfficeJet Pro 8715 that has been in service a few years.) Still not sure of how to awaken either printer when it goes to sleep. One print job to the ENVY 6055 failed to print and efforts to awaken that printer. The printer was turned off overnight. The next morning when the printer (and PC's) were started, the print job (no longer needed) printed. Untimely and disappointing. There is a dearth of information about why HP SMART cannot (or does not) awaken a printer that is deemed to be offline (I suspect just not communicating with the new wifi (dual band) that is on continuously). Nor did turning off and back on cause the printer to be recognized. Restarting the wifi is not practical nor desirable if that is what might be recommended. Simply sending a print job does not work immediately. Turning the printer off, waiting 30 seconds and turning back on, did not tip off HP SMART that the printer could be contacted. Overall, the printer works well as long as HP SMART recognizes the printer is on line.

Printed set up was easy and quick. Prints well. No issues with wireless printing. Comes with only enough ink to print a couple pages. Replacement ink is outrageously expensive!

Overall this is a really good printer for the money. Rather quick printing, two-sided printing, scanning, and fax from HP’s desktop and mobile app. It offers WiFi printing, Apple AirPrint, and Android’s mobile print so you basically can print to it from any device you own. The only real negative I can say about it is HP instant ink and being tied to HP ink through firmware updates to the printer. Depending on how much you print Instant Ink may be cheaper than buying cartridges, but for me it wasn’t. If you rely on after-market ink or refillable ink cartridges you’re SOL as the printer will recognize they’re not genuine HP.

Outstanding printer for home use...prints a little slow but it is clear whether color or black and white prints..it has a sleek design with led lighting indicating whether connected to wifi or thru cable...best purchase.

So far so good. Easy to set up, also doesn't take up a lot of space which is a plus. Have printed quite a few documents since setting up last month. The HP Ink subscription is a must have as well.

I bought the HP- envy 6055e for my daughter for her birthday. She wanted a smaller printer, with basic functions. She really likes it. It was easy to set up and is working great.

The printer works wonderfully well. Pages and print are clear and precise. The color is clear and true to it's colors. It's easy to use, just press print. It's a very good printer. It's the correct one for me.

This printer is easy to use and takes up very little space. It offers sharp bright colors and quiet printing.

Good printer for the price, but not for heavy use, good for home and light use, good quality printing and very easy to set up

it's pretty quick but does take a while to connect to the laptop and will continue to disconnect

What can I say? It’s a printer and it prints fine. Easy to set up, not a whole lotta packaging, and it was easy to get and use.

It’s ok better than the one I had. It’s easy to use. And it prints good .

Love all functions: print, copy & scan. All are quick & easy to do! Compact size fits perfectly where we need it next to computer. So happy we opted for this printer. HP & Best Buy never let us down!

As a nursing student I needed a reliable printer to print documents. This printer is perfect. The app feature and print from everywhere is very cool as well. If you sign up for the instant ink just know they only send ink if you’re out of ink you’ll pay regardless every month if you’re low or not.. so opt in or opt out based off of your needs and how much you’ll be printing. Also this printer offers front and back printing with ease. Scanning is super easy as well

Nice printer, does a good job and prints on both sides of the paper if you want, which was one of my needs. I subscribed to the ink service because they have a free trial and I'll never go back to buying ink the old way. The printer communicates with the HP mothership and counts the number of pages we print. When we hit a certain threshold, a new order of ink shows up in my mailbox without me having to do anything. When we get the "low ink" message, we swap out the cartridges and go about our business. It's fantastic. HP has numerous options to choose from depending on how much you print. I do not feel like I was forced into a package that wasn't a good fit. It's also less expensive than buying name brand ink -- basically you pay the same price as generic ink but you get genuine HP ink. Also the printer itself was pretty easy to set up, very automated process. I recommend getting the app. It makes it very easy to manage printing.

This printer is compact and takes a very little space on my desk, I love how there is a paper drawer rather than a top feed. My only complaint would be that the power button is located in the back and tough to get to unless you move the whole copier forward. The only option without having to move it all the time is to leave it on. It is an electricity drain to do so and the blue glow even in sleep mode literally lights up my office area at night.

I have always loved HP printers. My last one was too big for my at home office so I decided to upgrade. I did my research and found this one. I have used it several times and it prints so much faster than my last one. It is perfect size to sit on my desk. I am very happy with this printer.
