I have owned several different HP printers over the years. I have also owned Epson. I think HPs are more reliable, better built although the ink is a ripoff. For my casual printing HP is great, and each printer lasts well over 8-10 years. The 6000 series has done very well so far and I’m very happy with it. I did subscribe to the instant ink program 50/month. Initial set up was a bit tedious for seniors like me but after multiple circular attempts got it to work. I strongly recommend this for home users.

I needed help from my out of town daughter-in -law to align our computers with the printer. There was no problem installing the ink cartridges.

My previous Envy, tho very old now (10 years!), was much "friendlier." This printer is slow, pages are not collated, the buttons are not clear as to their use, there is no way i can figure out how to request more than one copy when making a copy.

And most of the time, the button doesn't work. It's difficult to turn it on or turn it off. Likewise, the colors mean nothing to me, and I can't understand what they are supposed to do for me.
