    Prints great Scans etc only caveat is light is somewhat bright if you leave the printer on. If you turn it off it solves the problem.

    We bought this for in home use as well as a small business. We purchased photo paper and printed pictures from our wedding to frame. It’s just as good as getting it printed at a photo place. We have instaink so we get ink automatically sent to us when it’s low. Great product!

    I purchased this printer only because the reviews said it printed good photos. NOT true. It also shows a picture of a photo being printed on the box. I returned to the store to ask why there was lines on my photos after printing, the salesman said that the printer was not good for photos. Needless to say, I returned the printer the next. Got my full refund.

    Great Printer with a Few Flaws

    Overall, this is a great printer. It's easy to use, once you get the hang of it (more on that later). It's easy to connect to wifi and to connect all your devices to it via the HPSmart app. It prints relatively quickly and quietly, although it's lacking a few features that I generally look for (lack of automatic feeder for scanning, dedicated photo paper feed). It doesn't have a display screen, which I have a love/hate relationship with. For the most part, display screens aren't the best. My most recent printer was hard to read, and it was a real hassle having to enter wifi passwords on the little touch screen. With this printer, everything is done via the HPSmart app. So it's easy for things like passwords. However, it's hard to tell what's going on with the printer without the display screen, which typically tells you what the issue is if there is one. There are several icons on the front of the printer that simply blink different colors. So there is a learning curve to get used to what the different lights mean. The app and the manual don't help a ton with this. It's definitely helpful to go on Youtube and find some videos that teach you how it works. Here's my list of pros and cons: Pros: - Quiet, fast printing with great quality - Only two ink tanks to install, not one for every color - Easy to connect to wifi and devices - Sleek, minimalist look - HPSmart app is easy to use and lets you control most functions without having to touch the printer - doesn't have a clunky display Cons: - lack of automatic document feeder for scanning and copying - does not have a dedicated photo paper feeder - does not have an auto power off/wake function. Unless you turn the printer off, there is a bright blue horizontal light that runs the length of the paper output that stays on all the time. If you turn the printer off, you can't wake it back up with a print task - learning curve to learn what all the different lights mean without a display - having to press the "i" (info) button and print an entire page to get the wifi direct password to the printer. seems wasteful

    Your picture is WRONG ~ I traded the ENVY for an HP Office Jet 9015. I am VERY pleased. I made the trade b/c the ENVY did not accept legal size paper & this one does. I also like the 'multiple' feeding for both copies & scans. ALL & all, I am very, very satisfied!

    I do not really care for the printer. I bought it a few months ago and there’s no screen to know what to press. All the ink was used for instructions and Wi-Fi set up and now anything I try to print comes out blurred but I never even used it for ink to be gone.

    Set up went fairly well. Have used it less than 10 times and now can't print because the printer is offine. There are no instructions for how to correct this issue and the online guidance did not address my issue. I ended up having to use a USB cable to print. Not what I'd expect from a HP. This is my 3rd HP printer.

    Super easy to install and use!

    I’ve needed a new printer for my very small business & little printing needs. I do need a scan to fax documents & this works beautifully. It also chimes when the job is done. After a recent power outage it powered off and on without my needing to do a thing. It’s great.

    This is not a quality printer. It constantly disconnects from Wifi and is virtually impossible to reconnect. The app is useless to help with it. I am going to try to return it as we have only had it about 6 weeks. Right now, it’s not even a useful paper storage tray.

    Actually more printer than I need but very glad I got it, even though I had to get the Geek Squad to set it up on my mediacom wifi. I was pleasantly surprised that I can operate it from my computers and phone. Can even sent pictures from my gallery straight to the printer.

    The transaction was smooth everything went smoothly as shipping was quick and all. But the product was defective and had to be replace by HP. HP replace the printer Best Buy had no way to know it was defective until the unit was to be put in service.Owner

    Printer works fine. I have trouble with keeping it connected to the wifi after using it. You have to reconnect it everytime you turn it on, unlike the computer that keeps the connection. I just use a direct connection to avoid hooking it back up each time. I did have one paper jam that took some time to clear the error. Instructions aren't included so you have to troubleshoot online. But other than that it does what I need it to do.
