We just brought the printer a couple of days ago but the ink included just printed maybe less than 8 pages and was out of ink already.

This doesn't compare to the quality of printers I had in the past (such as Kodak) when printing pictures. They tend to be grainy and blurred. On the plus side, it is very easy to use and set up.

It appears like this will be a decent printer, but good golly is it ever slow. The price indicated this wouldn't be a terrific printer, but the color is good so I'll be keeping it.

This printer is easy to setup, easy to use, but the ink is a joke. I've only ever used HP printers and I've never seen one go through ink like this. I just replaced the ink with a new 67XL black ink cartridge. I selected "Save ink/toner" and began a large printing job. 50 double-sided pages in, the pages were coming out white and the alert came on that I had low ink. Could be a bad cartridge, but in the month I've been using this it has seemed to go through ink way more quickly than any printer I've had before. This is the last HP model I'll be buying.

I’m sorry to hear that your printer is going through so much ink. It concerns me that the cartridges you’ve received performed so poorly. Unless you were printing mostly high-density prints, it does seem like you should have been able to print more.
Here are some things you can consider:
- If it appears that a cartridge was low on ink to begin with, or that the poor page yield was caused by a defective cartridge, you can always contact the seller who sent you the cartridge about that.

Here are some facts on ink use that might help you get more prints without too much extra effort:
- A high-density print (such as an image or graph) uses ink more quickly than a text-only document, particularly if the paper is highly absorbent and the environment is dry.

- Shutting the printer down between uses can result in some savings. However, always use the power button on the printer itself to turn it off. That will let the printer to 'park' so that the nozzles that spray the ink onto the paper are protected from excess drying.
