      Hi there.

I’m sorry to hear that your printer has failed to maintain a reliable wireless connection and has rendered prints of poor quality. It’s easy to understand why that would be a tremendously frustrating combination, so I’ll offer some resources that I hope will help.

First, I recommend you visit a page on our support site that has diagnostic tools for various issues, including wireless connectivity. Visit that page here:
      - support.hp.com/us-en/topic/diagnostics

You might also find useful information in this guide to improving print quality, including faded or streaked prints, color or black ink not printing properly or at all, and blurred or fuzzy text:
      - support.hp.com/us-en/document/c06543527

If any problem persists, I recommend that you contact us directly at +1 800-474-6836 so we can help you assess the situation and find a solution. (Please note that because of restrictions on personal movement and workplace attendance associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, wait times for agents are longer than normal. Thanks in advance for your understanding.) To expedite the process, I recommend gathering the following information before the call:

      - Model number
      - Serial number
      - Your location
      - Case number (from any previous contact with HP support)

This is the best printer I’ve ever had. I also really love that I don’t have to worry about running out of ink in the middle of a project.

It's a sufficient printer for what I need it for. It does get offline quite often, so I have to reboot it, but it starts right back up and prints what I need it to immediately without having to wait an extended about of time. What I expect for the money spent.

I don't typically leave bad reviews but, I feel I need to warn others before wasting their money! I am afraid this is the worst printer I have ever purchased. Bought it for it's low profile and have had nothing but BIG trouble! Once I can get it to print, it does have reasonable print quality. But I pretty much need to reboot it every. single. time. I print something. I have been through all the troubleshooting steps to no avail. It just seems to be a very low quality/performance printer. It has been a very frustrating waste of money and time. I highly recommend NOT purchasing this printer.

      Hi, Wendy.

I’m sorry to hear that your printer has failed to maintain a reliable wireless connection. I can easily understand why the need to restart the printer before each use would quickly become exasperating, especially after having done your own troubleshooting, so I’ll offer a resource and some information I hope will help.

From your review, I can’t tell why your printer won’t stay connected like it should, so I recommend that you contact us directly at +1 800-474-6836 so we can help you assess the situation and find a solution. (Please note that because of restrictions on personal movement and workplace attendance associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, wait times for agents are longer than normal. - Model number
      - Serial number
      - Your location
      - Case number (from any previous contact with HP support)

I'll also mention that HP printers have a one-year warranty from their purchase date that covers hardware as well as ink supplies, so if it comes to that, you might consider making use of it. You can verify the warranty using the following link: support.hp.com/us-en/checkwarranty

The printer (HP 6055) was easy to set up. However, it was unable to copy or scan. I tried the remedies provided at the HP website. After a day of frustration I returned it to Best Buy. Best Buy refunded the purchase price immediately, no questions asked. I subsequently purchased the HP6458 for the exact same price. It includes a document feeder, absent on the 6055. The 6458 works perfectly. I received a defective 6055. I do NOT recommend it.

It was very hard to set up. I had to call hp tech support 2x’s. They wanted to charge me $69 and $89. I googled how to do it and still wouldn’t work. Called again had to add software to my computer. No charge. Way to hard to install. Haven’t used it yet.

HP will shut off your printer if you do not subscribe and pay for their ink service. This falls under right to repair. You do not own the printer, they treat it like a lease.

      Hi, Cliff.

I’m sorry that you’ve encountered difficulty with your printer as it relates to HP’s Instant Ink program. I can certainly understand why the information you were told would be a jarring surprise. I want to help you learn about our printing plans and how they apply to your printer, so I’ll offer some clarifying information and a resource I hope will meet that goal.

First, as you might already know, Instant Ink is a printing plan rather than a cartridge purchasing service. This means you choose a plan based on the number of pages you would like to print monthly, and you are billed on a monthly interval. Replacement cartridges are shipped as needed based on usage, not by the month. That said, customers are not required to enroll in a printing plan or establish an HP+ account. And if you do enroll in Instant Ink outside of an HP+ account and cancel later, it’s true that the Instant Ink cartridges in your printer will no longer work after cancellation, but you can return to buying cartridges from your preferred retailer.

If you need further clarification or assistance with anything, I recommend that you contact us directly at +1 800-474-6836. (Please note that because of restrictions on personal movement and workplace attendance associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, wait times for agents are longer than normal. Thanks in advance for your understanding.) To expedite the process, I recommend gathering the following information before the call:
