I bought and returned two of these printers. Difficult to set up as there is no touch screen on the unit and the setup and any operations must be done completely on a device. Constant paper jams. It is nice in white and has pretty led lights in different colors but that’s about it.

    DISAPPOINTING FOR HP

I purchased this printer in store in July,2020. Took over a month to be delivered. The Geek Squad did a perfect set up. Now since November 4,2020 the printer is not responding to any device or my computer. I made an appointment to return it. Very disappointing. I have always used HP and this HP - ENVY 5055 does not measure up.

A very bad printer. Setup was a pain in the butt. It doesn't have an ethernet port on it and if you want to connect to it with USB, the cable isn't included. Scanning documents was a hassle to set up and even then its scan quality is low.

      Hi, Chris.

I’m sorry to learn that your printer was so difficult to set up and that you’ve had a hard time with the scan function including poor quality scans. First, I recommend that you go through the steps in a guide to improving scan quality that you’ll find on our support site. It covers what to do when the scanned file on a computer or the printed output has vertical lines, incorrect colors, color bands or poor resolution:
