      Hi there.

I'm sorry to hear that your printer has performed poorly. I can wholly understand why the delays you describe between print and scan jobs would quickly become exasperating, so I’ll point you toward some resources I hope will help.

First, I recommend you visit a page on our support site that has diagnostic tools for various issues. There you’ll find a general-purpose tool called the HP Print and Scan Doctor. If you use Windows, the tool will help identify and guide you through solutions to a wide range of common printing and scanning issues. Visit that page here:

The HP Envy 6055 was very easy to set up, with only 3 steps. You can print from any device using the HP Smart app, which is user friendly. The quality of print for both photos and text documents is really good and colors are vibrant. Scanning can be done easily with the press of a button on the printer, or through the HP Smart app. I would highly recommend this printer to anyone.

This HP - ENVY 6055 Wireless All-In-One was very easy to set-up. I used the HpSmart app from the Microsoft Windows Store to download and install. Everything went great, my printer was installed and ready to print in about 15 mins! Great print quality as usual. Insta-ink ready! Please note that this printer DOES NOT include a USB cable in the box! If you need one you will have to purchase it separately. It is meant to connect to a home Wi-Fi network. Highly recommend!

      Hi there.

I’m sorry that your printer has performed so poorly. I want to help you resolve this situation, so I’ll direct you to a resource and some information I hope will help.

I can’t tell from your review what’s causing the printer to perform this way, so I suggest that you contact us directly at +1 800-474-6836 so we can help you assess the situation and find a solution. Hi there.

I’m sorry that your printer has rendered prints of poor quality and used ink so rapidly. It’s easy to understand why this would be quite a shock with a new printer. I want to help you remedy these problems, so I’ll provide some clarifying information and resources aimed at reaching that goal.

First, I can’t say for certain what happened with the ink supply in your case, and I can’t tell whether the page numbers you cite were from the cartridges that came with your printer or replacement cartridges you bought later. Some printers come with what are known as setup cartridges, which have a lower capacity than regular or XL cartridges, and less still than ones in our Instant Ink program. XL size cartridges for your printer have estimated page yields of 200 to 240 pages, while the regular sizes are expected to produce 100 to 120 pages.

Because you’ve seen dramatically different results, here are some things you can consider:
      - If it appears that a cartridge was low on ink to begin with, or that the poor page yield was caused by a defective cartridge, I recommend that you contact the seller who sold you the items.
      - Contact us if the supplies are defective genuine cartridges that are not replaced by the vendor (and they are still within their “warranty ends” date). Reach out to us via this link: support.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp

Here are some facts on ink use that might help you get more prints without too much extra effort:
      - A high-density print (such as an image or graph) uses ink more quickly than a text-only document, particularly if the paper is highly absorbent and the environment is dry.
      - Using the draft and black only settings on your printer can help save on ink, particularly the colors.
      - Shutting the printer down between uses can result in some savings. However, always use the power button on the printer itself to turn it off. That will let the printer “park” so that the nozzles that spray the ink onto the paper are protected from excess drying.

If the problem persists – and for input on improving print quality – I suggest you contact us directly at +1 800-474-6836 so we can help you assess the situation and find the best course of action. To expedite the process, I recommend gathering the following information before the call:

      Hi there.

I’m sorry to hear that your printer has performed so erratically. It’s no surprise you’re unsatisfied, considering the device stops and starts print jobs with no explanation or remedy. I want to help you get the printer working like it should, so I’ll provide some resources and information aimed at making that happen.

      Hi, Melissa.

I’m sorry you’ve had a poor start to owning your printer. I can wholly understand why finding no power cord with the device and then having a difficult setup process would be a big frustration. I can imagine how disappointing and disconcerting this must have been, so I want to provide information to help you make it right.

First, I can’t say for sure what happened in your situation, but what you describe can occur when a printer is sold, returned to the seller, then sold again to a different buyer without being adequately inspected before shipment.

Because you expected to receive a new printer with all the necessary components, I recommend you contact the seller to address this promptly. You can do that by scrolling to the bottom of the Best Buy website and clicking Orders & Returns.

If it turns out not to be a seller issue, I suggest that you contact us directly at +1 800-474-6836 so we can help you assess what’s happened and find the best course of action. To expedite the process, I recommend gathering the following information before the call:

      Hi there.

I’m sorry to hear that your printer stopped working even though you’d used it only four times prior to that. I can wholly understand why that would be an unwelcome surprise. I can’t tell from your review why the printer stopped working, but I hope the resources I’ve listed below will help you get the device operational again.

You mention having it for one year, so I’ll point out that HP printers have a one-year warranty from the purchase date that covers basic support as well as hardware and supplies. Sometimes, buyers purchase extended warranties. You can check the warranty status of your printer using the following link:
      - support.hp.com/us-en/checkwarranty

If your printer is still covered, you can contact us directly at +1 800-474-6836 so we can help you assess the situation and find the best course of action.

If your printer is no longer covered, you might consider posting the details of your issue on our support forums. This is an active community of seasoned experts, including some former and current HP employees, who can work with you to get your printer running as it should. To access this, visit the following link:
