Great printer very good quality wireless easy to use

Wireless didn't work on my computer, but after I hard wired it, it works great. Too bad the instructions don't tell you that you have that option. I just lucked up and discovered the possibility. No thanks to HP.

It was a tad intimidating to install the software as it was all done through an app. I initially had a problem installing it with the app on my phone, so I downloaded the app to my tablet and it easily installed the printer. I also now have the app on my laptop and can print from my smartphone, tablet, and laptop. However, there's no control panel on the printer itself, so I have to use my smartphone, tablet, or laptop to do anything on the printer whereas on my old hp printer, I could copy or scan directly from the control panel on the printer. I couldn't print an envelope through my Hallmark program as it would always jam, but I can through my Microsoft Word program. I have also printed photos, and they look good. Overall, I am satisfied with this printer.

Bought to replaced old printer setup was easy works well. Definitely intersting that new printer was less than replacement cartridges for old printer. When I purchased new cartridges for what turned out to be broken printer, customer service would noy give me refund because I had opened box. However the computer section applied refund to printer cost. Thanks

This printer was fairly easy to set up. You'll need to download the app on your phone first. I love being able to print documents from my phone - even when I'm on a different floor than the printer. I also purchased a printer cable so I can print from my computer when not connected to the internet. My only complaint is that there's no tray to catch the paper when printed and it falls to the floor.

Ive been owning this printer for a while now and haven’t had many issues. You will need to have an app on your phone/computer for when you want options when you print. I was subscribed to the hp ink service but eventually left since I really don’t print all that much. This printer is much better to me than an Epson.

This printer does a very good job. The directions to set it up were easy to follow and the Instant ink is high quality.

Definitely worth the money, works well, nice clean printing everytime. I really like the optional ink and paper service that comes with it. (Monthly fee applies)

Nice basic printer easy to use nice price No complaints

The HP Envy 6055e printer works well. Printing, copying and scanning give nice results. Two problems: 1. Set-up is complicated. The non-intuitive software requires many steps that are not well explained. Scanning requires going back into the HP Smart App program. 2. Control panel buttons on the front lower right of the printer are mysterious. They do not stay lit up, and are impossible to see when dark. I was unable to find a diagram of what each control icon is supposed to do. The on/off switch is also unlabeled, hidden in the back, and recessed in a way that makes it hard to find by touch. Turning the printer off requires pushing and holding the on/off switch for several seconds and then releasing it, even though it looks like a toggle switch. None of this is explained in the instructions.

Super easy setup, ease of functionality. Not too big, perfect size.

This printer has serious connectivity problems. Sometimes there are long delays before printing starts, (several minutes), and sometimes it never prints at all until a power reset. Sometimes it pauses for several minutes in the middle of a print job for no reason, only to eject the half-printed page then start over again. Very frustrating. To be clear, this is a dirt-simple home network with 1 laptop, 1 printer, and NO other devices.

Great printer and very easy to use. The durability is awesome and not too noisy. I love the fact that you can control it within the app.

Setup was a challenge for us. You need to connect to the internet in order to use it & you need paper so it can print the directions. Otherwise, it's really nice & easy to use once it's set up. We use it by connecting our devices to it wirelessly and it works great. We haven't used the scanner yet, but it has one.
