Does what it says it will. It has gone to sleep on me sometimes and shows offline. I have to figure out why this happens. I love the small footprint and features for the price. I do have to say it is a good budget printer!

Ink jet Printer with HP Ink subscription

I use this printer with the HP subscription Program that allows you to print a certain number of pages based on your need. The more pages you need printed monthly the more you pay monthly. I only use about 50 pages a month and I think I pay $4.99/month. The great thing is I got 700 pages per month for the first 6 months when I purchased. This was great as I had a lot to print and used it up as much as possible.

HORRIBLE HP SUPPORT REFUSE TO FIX ISSUES

If there was anyway that I could give less than one star I would. The printer is not the problem it’s the support from HP and my attempts to get ink for this printer. To begin with because I have owned other HP printers the app that you have to register your printer to get the ink replacement would not initially recognize the new printer. It simply went downhill from there. I contacted HP support on three different occasions and they were in capable of clearing the problem. The bottom line is I have not had use of this printer for the last 2.5 moths and ho has repeatedly failed to help or resolve the issue, as a matter of fact they’ve just wash their hands of it so now I have a printer that doesn’t work at all and I can’t believe it but I’m actually looking at buying a new printer so that I have one that works and throwing this one in the trash. Please do not buy this printer the support from HP is terrible it’s nothing wrong with the printer it’s their program which is not allowing me to get this printer online so the wireless aspect of it is useless.

Honestly, for a simple little guy, it does pack quite a punch! Never underestimate this thing for its small size because let me tell you...oh...I see the irony now.

The printer seems solidly constructed, is easy to use and prints well. If it continues to operate for some three years or so that would also be fine.

Had an HP printer before and hated it - cartridges would dry out if not used often, then having to buy new $25 cartridges just to print one page. Was going to replace it with a Brother, but it was out of stock. Saw this one had decent reviews, so I thought, "Why not, surely they've improved." No, no it has not. The setup is a pain without a screen, the cartridges still dry out, and resetting the wireless is a massive pain if you move. Do yourself a solid, and don't buy an HP home printer.

The HP-Envy 6055 is a great printer. I am challenged when it comes to technology, however this was easy to set up and connect to the internet for wireless printing. I like that you can choose to use just black ink or both black and color. I was in need of a new printer that would scan. This is easy to scan and easy to print double sided. It is also a nice size and doesn’t take up too much desk space. I would highly recommend this printer.

I bought this printer one year ago, so I've had a lot of opportunities to use it and test out its abilities. The highlight is the HP Smart app. It works well and is easy to use. The printer typically works fine for easy jobs sent from the local computer. But it is so finicky--dropping connection to the various laptops in the house, quitting in mid-print on longer documents, etc. We spend way too much time trouble-shooting this machine when it should be trouble-free (and a computer engineer lives here! He often cannot sort out the troubles).
