But printing pictures is kind of a PIA via the app or from Windows. On premium paper, quality is only a 7 - 7.5 out of 10. Had another HP photo printer about 10 years ago and pics came out heads and shoulders above this one. I know WiFi is taking over the world but still wish there was a NIC port for old-school people like me.

Great Compact Printer for the Price

Had it delivered to the porch and had not issues with the delivery or packaging. Setup was easy - just find a spot, plug it in, install app, and follow instructions. The print quality is good for printing out worksheets and standard text documents (have not tried photo quality stuff yet).

HP Envy 6000 not such a great printer

However, this printer drops the wifi network often and once off line it is very difficult to reset the printer and get it to go back on line. The lack of an on board screen to diagnose and correct problems is a poor design. The numerous patterns of colored lights and flashing patterns is not helpful to understand what is going on with the printer - i should not have to run back to manual and navigate several pages of color/flash patterns to figure out what the problem is.

The one thing I don’t like is that it came with no printed instructions. I know how to print and copy but don’t have a clue how to scan.
