Printer for small jobs

Also I can’t figure out how to turn the machine off when not in use. It was so difficult to get the printer hooked up with WiFi that I am terrified of losing internet. I have only had the printer for a couple of weeks. Let’s see how it works in 6 months, two years etc. things just don’t last but the price was great.

It took me a minute to get to know it because I never had a HP printer before. I didn't need a lot of bell and whistles. It works just fine for my needs.

Be careful - it’s not for everyone

It is really, really difficult to get it to work with Linux (Ubuntu) so if you don’t have windows or Mac look elsewhere. They tell me I can cancel the ink by mail thing and the printer will still work. Really difficult to get it to scan a document (impossible in Ubuntu, never got it to scan for my windows machine either). Seems hp is so busy trying to get money out of you for their subscription ink thing they forgot to make a printer that could be used across different platforms. Be careful.

You have to have a little knowledge about electronics and the internet and how they connect. What I don't like is there is no indication that you are low on ink. I'm guessing when the print starts to fade or the machine will maybe let me know. I just have extra on hand waiting to see what happens.
