    Better than expected I appreciate that as soon as you open the paper tray it asked if you are changing paper size or type . So far very user friendly

    I've only had the printer a short time and used it a few times - so far so good. The reason I bought it, however, was because my last HP printer stopped working not long after the one-year warranty was up. This time I spent an extra $20 for a four-year Geek Squad plan.

    This printer replaces an HP Envy 5660. I purchased this printer because I thought the old printer was not working correctly. It turns out there was a browser issue that the Geek Squad ( who had to come to my home) figured out after several calls to Microsoft, HP and the Geek Squad. It seems there is a lot more information going between my printer and laptop than my older printer. So far so good, it is working but the set up took quite a bit of time to get it to work properly.

    It took half a day to setup. Quick start had a QR code, but I did not want to install it on my smartphone. I used the link from the quick start on my PC and it took me through some steps but then wanted the printer connected to USB but printer was still in the box. 4 days I finally decided to give it a try. It did manage to install HPsmart on my PC. I plugged in the USB port and it seemed to install OK. Printer does seem to loose the twain driver for the program I use for scanning, but rebooting the PC brings it back. Sometimes I get a scan that is just garbage. I still haven't figured out how to use the wireless part but I did set it up to my wi-fi.
