Printer is pretty good, but the whole instant ink subscription thing is very deceptive. They don't tell you that they will deactivate the printer cartridges once your subscription expires. My understanding was that the cartridges would still work but after they ran out of ink, I would have to get new HP cartridges,, which I was ok with. But that is not how it works. Instead, once your subscription runs out, you can no longer use the instant ink cartridges- even if they are brand new. HP actually deactivates them. The customer service rep said that this practice is in the fine print, which I am certain that it is. But when I looked on line during my subscription, nothing was said that the instant ink cartridges would be deactivated once my subscription expired. And apparently, they are unable to even provide a courtesy time extension to reactivate the cartridges unless of course, you pay for it. So they can deactivate the cartridges but "are unable to" reactivate them unless you pay extra. Ridiculous. Be warned!
