Nice printer and easy to use. Has all the functions normally needed in a home office style printer. Just wish it had a display screen.

The new printer is working out fairly well. The salesman did not explain something about this printer and how it works that maybe might have changed my mind about purchasing it. But the inventory on new printers was soooo low, I had a very limited choice.

Ink gets used up quickly. Only have had it for one month and have printed maybe 100 sheets. Some were pictures so maybe that's why. Pictures did look great though. I like this printer. I have never owned one so can't compare. Good buy for a good price.

This printer is a piece of junk. Too hard to get it connected to wi fi and too hard to get it set up for wi fi to print. Just spent 2 hours trying to get this piece of junk set up & finally go my two pages I needed to print. I am actually ready to throw this printer out the door!

Worst - wont connect to either the apple software or HP's Smart (anything but) app. And why do you need to sign into Smart App just to print/scan something.

I like the printer and it was easy to install. I just wish that there were more instructions on how to use the printer, i.e. how to copy double sided [in previous models, one just pressed a button on the unit]. I didn't find the HP website helpful.

Do not waste your time buying this piece of garbage. HP is now forcing the online management of their printers making setup an absolute nightmare. I'm an IT professional and I just wasted an hour getting this setup. Absolutely no way to setup without an HP account for which they get to monitor and track your usage (unless you know where the off toggles are hidden). I used to be an HP die-hard fan. Never again.

    Not Enough Information in Manual

There are no instructions on how to install ink cartridges, no instructions on how to put in the paper, no instruction of how to find serial #, no information on help desk phone #. Connecting printer online was not successful, the instructions on internet are highly convoluted. When I, eventually, found and contacted the help desk 1-800 number, the guy from the Philippines had sent me a link so he can get into my computer and install the printer. Researching the stuff on the internet on how to deal with this product will take time, though. I might have to return it, it took too much of my time, effort, and energy.

A basic printer has one function- and it almost refuses to accomplish this. The paywall features hp has put into these machines has rendered it almost useless. Only buy this if a 20 minute troubleshooting session to print a single page sounds like productivity to you. Ended up buying the canon I didn't want to spend extra money on.
