This experience could not have gone smoother. I had to return another printer that was giving me issues, and pickup a new printer. Monica was fantastic - prompt, kind, very efficient and professional. She is one of your greatest, Best Buy! - Jared Miedema

It prints fine, very basic. It does suck not having a real touchscreen, makes it confusing.

    The ink runs dry

I absolute hate this printer. I literally have to replace the ink every time I need to print. I learned that if I do not switch the power off the ink will dry out. So I got into the habit of doing so. Only to find out, it would power back on, on its own. Although I have only used HP printers in the last 20 years, I am no longer a fan. I should not have to run to another facility to print when I own a printer because I cannot find ink due to lack of supply. I also miss the screen of what it is doing.

Had it about a month and had no real problems with it. Had a little trouble with it recognizing the computer. Reinstalled it again and found the right was for it to find the computer. One more thing it does not shut off you have to do it manually

The color rendering on this printer is excellent. But to do it takes a lot of color ink. It easily prints on index cards, envelopes as well as regular paper. I especially like the wireless feature. Fewer wires.

There are better options in the market for the same price. I got this one in a rush and when I checked the performance, it was too late to return it. The image quality is good and the ink is easy to install, but it is too noisy and slow when printing.

      Hi there.

Thanks for the review and the description of your experience so far. While I’m glad to hear that you like your printer’s image quality and ease of installation for the ink cartridges, I’m sorry to hear that it has rendered prints slowly and makes loud noise when printing. It’s easy to understand why those would be aggravating side notes on a printer you otherwise like. With that in mind, I’ll offer some resources I hope will help you get the device working to your satisfaction.

First, I recommend that you follow a guide on our support site that covers improving print speed; choose whichever of the following two links matches your operating system:
      - Windows: support.hp.com/us-en/document/bud03409
      - Mac OS: support.hp.com/us-en/document/c01928898

I can’t tell from your review what’s causing the noise, but I believe it deserves further investigation. So for input on that – or for more guidance on print speed if you need it – I suggest that you contact us directly at +1 800-474-6836 so we can help you assess the situation and find a solution. (Please note that because of restrictions on personal movement and workplace attendance associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, wait times for agents are longer than normal. Thanks in advance for your understanding.) To expedite the process, I recommend gathering the following information before the call:

      - Model number
      - Serial number
      - Your location
      - Case number (from any previous contact with HP support)

It’s only rated one star because I can’t rates zero . It is impossible for us to set it up and we’ve had to call the geek squad twice two months and two months later we still don’t have the burner running.

The Wi Fi connection is horrible. My Wi Fi is good too. No problems on anything other than the printer. I will print something and hours later in the middle of the night it will print. Was very hard to connect. This printer sucks and I am sorry I bought it.

I needed a printer to work with my Windows 8.1 laptop. After several hours of unsuccessfully trying to get to print even a test page, I called HP and was told that this printer was not compatible with 8.1. The printer was returned to Best Buy and replaced with a compatible HP printer.

      Hi there.

I’m sorry to learn that your printer has rendered prints of poor quality. I can wholly understand why this would be disappointing. I want to help you remedy the problem, so I’ll provide some resources aimed at making that happen.

First, I recommend following the steps listed in a guide on our support site to improving print quality, including blurred or fuzzy text, faded or streaked prints, and color or black ink not printing properly or at all. Find that guide here:
