Ink price is much less than my previous HP. cons: you have to open the app to print/scan. My desk-jet had a screen on the printer to do that. Wifi connection is not always good and there is no cable to connect directly to computer. I would not have bought if I realized that.

A Pretty Good Printer

Scanner works great and the print quality is high though the somewhat basic display leaves a little to be desired for the price.

I've learned to just keep it on 24/7 because if I turn it off and then turn it back on when I want to use it it'll give me a hard time. Every time is a different issue. Right now it says it's out of ink when it's not! It keeps saying it only accepts HP ink when that's all I get!! Don't recommend it. It has other nice features like scanning and the app, but honestly not worth the headaches it gives.

I’m not happy that I have to pay for subscription in order to print. That’s the only downside and why I gave it a four. But it’s a great printer.

OK printer for our needs

The HP Envy I bought on Black Friday a few years ago for $15 printed much better, seriously. And this unit won't print half the time when connected over Wi-Fi. It's so frustrating. I finally tried Wi-Fi direct printing, which seems to be only solution for reliable printing. Not happy. Oh, and the $15 printer, also had a screen. This one doesn't. Quit being cheap HP.

Seems to need to be turned off and back on to re-establish computer connection about half the time. Otherwise, a good choice.
