Can’t get the ink in stores

Apparently HP wants to force me to sign up for automatic ink delivery. Won’t work given the massive variation in volume for the printer. Never getting HP again

Another Crap HP Product

From day one it would not print and I still cant get it to print. Takes me an hour to get it to work every time and thats absolute crap.

Lots of features in a small package

I like that it has more features and is smaller than my current business printer. It prints a little slower but it's not noticeable. It's a little odd to not have a touch screen but honestly I don't normally use them. I like that the printer was able to print and scan at the same time. This is very useful with multiple people using the same printer. With scanning, I'm very impressed with the quality. Not only does it do a good job with documents, I challenged it with scanning patches and coins. It was able to capture all the detail and not cause any artifacts. The double sided printing was useful and easy. I printed a couple photos on photo paper and they turned out awesome. I signed up for HP Instant Ink and it seems like a great service. For my personal needs I don't think I print enough to justify the service but it seems extremely convenient to have ink auto ordered for you. It's provided for free for 6 months to try out. The only negatives I can think of with this printer is that you have to use your smartphone to get it setup and there's not ethernet port. Since there's a lack of a touch screen, you need to download the HP Smart app to connect the printer to WIFI. And without an ethernet port you can't just connect the printer hard line to the router so you don't have to worry about WIFI availability. For my situation these weren't major cons but I could see them being an issue for others.

Great Home printer

I was able to use the printer as soon as I took it out of the box and add the ink. The setup was very easy and all I had to do was plug it in and put the ink that came in the Box into it. The printer has a very Sleek design and fits perfectly into my room. I like the bright colors that I get when I print and the printer is very quiet. I love that I can open and close the feed tray. Ended I speak about Hall amazing the print quality is. I am still excited and ready to continue to print projects with the printer another great feature that stood out to me is the fact that I can automatically get ink ordered and I can use the printer wirelessly. The scan feature of the printer is very easy to use. I really love this printer and I received it at a discountrd price.

Mess to set up

Problem is, it is not consistent. Continually drops connection over the network. A reboot helps sometimes, sometimes it does not. Don't buy.

Not a good look hp.

After that it started shredding paper, thankfully I bought the protection plan.

Super easy to setup and use with my iphone. You need a smart phone to use this printer. I can easily print from my phone or HP Chromebook. Also easy to get the ink subscription. Easy to print a double sided document right away. BTW I recommend searching Youtube for videos that walk you through the setup and use of this HP 6455e Envy Printer. If your looking for a good printer and not wanting to break the bank, get this one.

Failed the first print

Great All Around Home Workhorse
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Print, Scan, Copy, Photos and Mobile Fax that works via Wifi. Setup is easy and you will be up and running in no time. By now printers are nothing new and are a necessary evil in the home. The 6455 doesn’t have an onboard screen but the HP Smart App facilitates linking of your laptop, tablet etc and helps you with features etc The 6455 is a bit slow to print (about 10 pages per minute) but it’s a livable speed. The paper tray is 100 sheet capacity, 10 envelopes or 40 photo paper, but the photo paper is not in a separate try, you need to switch it out so keep that in mind if you do a lot of photo printing. Photos and general printing look great and if you opt for the innovative instant ink subscription service your operating costs will be fairly reasonable. While the 6455 has Mobile Fax capability for those rare occasions where you need to send a fax now a days, I found the operation a bit clunky and would tend to probably not use it. Overall this is a great choice for your everyday printing needs.

Bad buy
