Nice Quality Printer

We've only had it for a few days, but the print quality is nice. It takes some getting used to not having a display screen, but so far it hasn't been a problem. I appreciate the Instant Ink program as well, very convenient. It took about 12 hours for the setup to go through overnight, but after that, everything worked well.

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I miss having a screen to look at options, tools, ink supply, etc. For me, the operation is not so intuitive and it appears that HP is trying to hook their customers on setting up an account and opting for automatic ink supply. The control buttons are hard to see if they are not lit. And, why is the power button in the back? I'll probably need the Geek Squad to help finish installation. I can print and copy, but haven't figured out scanning and faxing yet. Print quality is very good. I haven't tried photos yet, though.

A simple inkjet printer, SHOULD'VE read reviews...

I used it one day and happy with it. Complete frustration with lights running at night (living in a hotel after fire) and couldn't locate the Power button (hidden in the back and not pointed out in quick start literature). Though the information is available after you locate an online user manual. The Problem. "E9" error message. Tried the online HP troubleshooter/customer service, "E9" never clears. This went on for a couple of days. Tried HP support where the tech takes control of your computer, in the end, "E9" never cleared. I think this was related to a firmware update. Regardless, after reading online reviews, post purchase, and seeing same problems - I chose to return this item, avoiding future headaches. Wound up buying another brand with EcoTank and very happy.

Colors are good and resolution is great, speed is acceptable. One thing that I could not figure out is how to print on both sides of the sheet. Believe the option is not avaiable.

Once you set up the Wifi everything else is easy. I like that the ink is shipped to me and I don't have to go to the store to buy ink. Nice feature and affordable. Starting at around $2.99 a month, it is cost efficient. The printer does all the work in ordering the ink. Easy!

Nice small printer for iOS but issues....

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Printer has a small footprint and prints well with iMac OS, but if you enroll in the Instant Ink program they want you to keep the printer on 24/7 and it will not turn off automatically when not in use. The light spill from the printer when it is on - even if you have programmed it to go into energy-saving mode - is the whole width of the paper tray. My home office is in my bedroom and the light spill is too much to allow me to sleep. I have to manually turn it off every night and then worry that the ink use count will be thrown off. I haven't tried it, but have read that unenrolling from the Instant Ink program is a nightmare.

It was easy to set up ( even for someone not too tech savvy.) It has a flat top for printing documents at home and also connects wirelessly to my computer and phone. Great!

The only problem was getting the 6 months of free ink. It kept gonna l to the same thing and wouldn’t let me set it up. Otherwise, so far everything is good.
