It finally died in my arms. I replaced it with the new HP ENVY 6455 printer. It is a more compact device. It saves me space and offers twice the service. I am very happy with my new PH-ENVY 6455 printer. If you want twice the service, in half the space. This printer is for you.

I used a fabulous HP printer for years - simple to use and so reliable - but it was not compatible with my new laptop so I bought this new printer. It was a nightmare to install, even with Geek Squad help. It has a wierd, totally unnecessary system of colored lights, blinking icons and an always-on blue light that serves no purpose except to consume energy. When I manually shut off the printer to conserve energy, the system went off-line and I had to call the Geek Squad to help me get it back online. The HP software is not user friendly and is very time-consuming to use. I have to go to the HP software page every time I want to do anything on the printer. The copy function isn't any easier. The scan function is even more complicated than the print function and I haven't had the courage to even attempt the fax function yet. The only positive note is that the quality of the printed/copied pages is good. There is nothing to envy about this inappropriately named new printer - I want my old HP printer back!

Great printer/copier for the money

It has been an invaluable tool. I use it constantly. Not only is it a great printer I can also make copies as well. It was incredibly easy to set the printer up via the app and I can print from my phone, ipad or computer. Great little printer.
