The printer prints good quality. However extremely slow, and requires to be shutdown after use. I am using wireless to print, and that does not always work. I plan to start using USB cable. Have not tried using my phone yet, not did I print pictures.

I’m very satisfied so far. I’ve printed, scanned, but I haven’t printed any pictures as yet, all without any problems. Being able to print from my phone is really covenant too.

Overall the printer have worked great for me. I don't print much but the HP Instant Ink program work well for me also. Every once in a while some of the lines will not align when printing. I think this happens when I do not print something for a while, but it corrects itself quickly.

HP should not have taken C7280 off the market. I bought another HP because I liked my C7280 (had for 6 years). With this new HP Envy 7640 we had trouble printing photos through the photo tray. Finally after having the Geek Squad (2 times, which we had to pay - approximately $200), we got it to work. The instruction brochure that came with the printer is not very good. The brochure only tells how to set up the printer - does not show or tell about all the features. Takes a long time to print, especially photos. Do not like that the paper extender does not go back in automatically after printing. After buying this printer, I found out that it had only been on the market two months, quality control kinks should have been worked out before hand. Disappointed that it did not come in grey color. I'm wandering if the ink cartridges are going to last as long as the one for the C7280 and if the price will be cheaper. The paper tray is very flimsy. The printer is very loud when printing. --- DO NOT POST MY EMAIL.

Very satisfied overall for the price. Somewhat hard at first to learn all the bells and whistles it offers but after you use it for awhile you find it offers more and more options and becomes easier to use. I like it and would recommend it .

This printer is quiet, fast, and prints more clear and concise than any other printer I've had. It is sleek and the size is smaller than other printers with the same extras. Love it!

The HP Envy 7640 was easy to set up. So far we have been very happy with the print quality. Particularly like the dedicated photo paper tray! Overall, a great printer at a great price!

This printer does everything we need and, as the title implies, set-up was easy and fast. The print quality is great for a non-professional printer. This is a great home printer.

Now that I've had time to print various types of pictures and documents, I must admit I am so very happy with this purchase! Super easy to use and the quality is outstanding!

Not much to say, this printer works well and does everything it says it can. I can print and scan wirelessly from another room with no problem, and it is also very quiet as well.

The all in one printer scanner fax and copier seems to do it all well and works flawlessly with only 2 ink cartridges. The color could be a little truer when printing photos.

My old printer was about five years old and worked fine, but this is so much easier. Touch screen display, but my favorite part is being able to print from my iPad or iPhone.

I've had no problems at all with this printer. The only reason I give it 4 instead of 5 stars is that it's a little loud but otherwise, I love the automatic ink reorder option. There is not a different ink for photos either which is nice

Nice will print paper and photo paper. Only two cartridges so good quality but not outstanding photo prints. So far easy to use and works with my laptop , iPad and iPhone wirelessly.

I bought this printer for work, and because of its laser printing technology. Now I gotta say it its not the lightest and smallest printer but it has a variety of features and it also has a feeder which was much needed. You also have an option for a USB drive to open and print files straight from it.

The printer is what I expected. It has been fairly easy to operate. The color in the prints is nice and bright right now, we'll see how things look after the printer ages some.

Great printer. Easy setup and easy to print from ipad and other wireless devices. Purchased this printer for my mother since I already had one and purchased another for my son.
