We replaced our older (probably 1-year old) 3 in 1 printer with this model. Very easy to set up and is a lot more compact than our older model.

Look. I hate printers like the guys from office space. This one does get the job done though. Sure. It has its moments where it makes noises like it's going to explode or it can't find paper. But I've always been able to get it to work. Had the previous model which died after one year. I hope this one makes it longer than that. Buy the warranty!

Purchased this product last month and it is impressive. Quite, fast and quality printing. Easy to install on a SOHO and compatible with Linux, Mac and PC. Picture printing quality is great too. Most interesting is that once on a LAN it can be set up to receive print orders over the internet, meaning you can print at home while you are away.

You know it does it all!! Guy from hp did a demo of the product and totally sold me on every question. Total reason I bought that printer.

After a examining all the printers in the store, I decided to purchase this all-in-one printer. A Geek Squad Agent set it up in my home and gave me a quick review of how the printer operates & what it is capable of doing. So far, I am very pleased & would gladly recommend it. It is a very good printer for the price & perfect for my home office.

I needed one urgently as ours went out completely. We noticed that the 7640 was on sale and the sales assistant was very helpful in explaining everything about this printer. To set the printer up we had it done over the 1-800 number and was completed within 1/2 an hour. I am very satisfied with it and hope it lasts longer than our previous one.

Bought this printer to replace an old hp printer and so far it is great Only uses two cartridges my old one had four and this is way better.

Overall I like this multi-function printer. The only disappointment is it will not save images in pdf format. I should have done more research. If I had known more I would have purchased a different machine. However, the last multi-function machine I had cost four time more than this one so I guess I have to overlook the lack of the pdf function.

My old Hp printer developed a problem with the print head. I read the reviews on Cnet and Bestbuy and this printer seems to fit for my use.

Great printer. It's fast and easy to use. The only problem I have had is when I changed the ink it was a little difficult to put in. After the new cartridge was put in and I wanted to print something I kept getting a message saying it needs to be aligned. It still prints correctly anyway. Still working on getting the message to go away.
