Prints very well, however the ink cartridges run out quite quickly - the salesperson told me that this type lasts longer. Not sure if he was correct. It doesn't feel like it. Also somewhat difficult to hook up wireless. But prints well so I kept it.

We had trouble installing this printer. The software on the cd kept hanging up. We finally went to the hp website and downloaded the installation software from there. Otherwise, I would recommend this printer for home use.

It's been years since I've purchased a printer and I was a bit skeptical because of the cost of ink. But, with the assistance of a sales associate I was able to find an all-in-one printer to meet my needs. Great picture quality and I got it on sale really good deal.

I do not print a lot but I do use all the features of this printer. No issues printing documents including double sided. Copying and faxing works without any issues. I use the scanning feature most and the document feeder helps a lot when scanning multiple pages.

Small, compact and meets our needs; due to use with a VoIP phone connection, we were unable to easily utilize the fax function of the device; also, because of the HP software, document scan requires extra steps. Does serve as a suitable printer/copier for home use.

Does everything it should. I love the touch screen that's so easy to maneuver. The only draw-back is the fact that it won't scan to my laptop while I'm using the Envy 7640. I have to use the icon on my laptop to chose "scan" and then it will scan to the laptop.

This printer has everything I wanted, & a few I didn't know I wanted! It prints really fast even on the "BEST" quality. I love the touch screen & the menu is very informative. This is my first printer with the Bluetooth app. & I can't quit using it.

I had the cheaper version which I purchased a year prior - it lasted a year before major malfunction to the hardware (service plan - always get the service plan!). I opted for this version instead, as it is much better suited for business functionality.

Machine needs to be on a stationary surface. Shakes and effects the image otherwise. Love the remote WiFi features and the Instant Ink Program. Still excited and learning how to access and use all the additional features. Glad I made the investment.

It is definitely what I exspected it to be...nice looking

The one thing that I don't like about this printer is that though the ink cartridges are less costly, they don't last as long as the ink cartridges that I used in my old HP printer. The prices on ink cartridges are still too high no matter the company.

I like the printer, but I was misled in the store when I was told that, even though I no longer have a landline, I would be able to use the fax feature because the printer is wireless. The scan feature is nice but being able to fax in addition would have been nice.

Convenient reliable printer. Had to buy this as a replacement of my desk jet 5700 series. I used non genuine ink and it would no longer recognize genuine ink Very comparable. Got this one on sale for $100 Same features. Good product

So far better than the 5 cartridge one I had that ate ink just turning it on. Not a heavy user so only printed a few times. Had issues with previous unit WiFi but this one was easy to set up, auto detected everything, and has not lost the settings like old unit.

This was a more than adequate replacement for my old HP printer. I like the fact that it uses less ink than old printer. Wireless connection only means that it takes a little longer for the information to get to the printer, but time lag is not intolerable.

We brought this for our son's first year in college. He loves it!! He's an engineering & business major and many of the forms needed require a higher functioning printer. We highly recommend this to anyone looking for a quality printer at a great price.

Seems to perform all functions well. I previously had an all in one PhotoSmart HP printer and was really impressed with the photo capabilities. I am not sure as yet if the 7640 can match the photo printing capability, but I am trying to learn all all of the features now.

I love this printer!! It prints double sided quickly which I love. I am a teacher and need to print lots of things in color. Definitely would recommend it to anyone who prints pictures out as well. The printer has a section just to print the pictures out.

The associate gave my wife and I a great price---He looked it up himself at the store. The reviews of this HP printer are excellent--the performance has been great as well. I would buy this printer at B. Buy again. I recommend it highly!!!!!!

This is a very easy printer to setup and it prints nicely. I have only printed a couple of photos but seems real nice. I normally print documents for my work and it is very quick!! So far so good!
