This is another excellent HP printer with some nice new features. We were concerned about the single ink cartridge instead of the multiple colored cartridges but by signing up for HP's Instant Ink program, even that is not an issue.

Problem with printheads on an older printer made me replace it. None could use the ink cartridges but this HP Envy printer seemed to be the cheapest and would serve my purposes. It would have been better to be able to use the ink cartridges

The sales person gave high review on this printer which encouraged me to purchase it when it was on sale. I love it. I've done some scanning, copying, and printing on it. I'm glad I tried it for myself. I would recommend this to anyone.

After my AT&T DSL upgrade, my HP Photosmart 7520 would not stay connected to the router. Neither AT&T or HP helpers could fix it. I bought the HP Envy 7640. It stays connected but the prints are far too "warm." I use a new Apple Notebook with retina display plus iPhoto for all my travel photos. The prints from the 7520 were identical to the screen of the laptop. But the same images printed on the Envy 7640 are far too warm. I have returned to the Photosmart 7520 for photo printing. Maybe someone can tell me how to adjust the settings on the Envy 7640.

I've tried epson printers, brother printers, and canon printers but none of them worked with my wifi! Only this HP printer did. I'm so glad I purchased it! Now I don't have to plug in the USB whenever I want to print something.

Had another expensive printer which suddenly decided not to print anything when in fact the print cartridges were full. Had to have a printer ASAP because I print my personal checks due to a medical problem. This printer works fine.

This printer works very well. Prints black and white very fast.Takes time with the color to give it good quality. Printer two sided. Wifi enabled comes in handy. Also can print from phone which is awesome. I have recommended it to my friends

It works well. Only problem is that I can't use the fax machine as I don't have a land line, I was left with the understanding that just an internet connection would work when I purchased it. If not for that I'd have given it five stars.

I have used H/P printers for over 30 years. Over time they continue to become more affordable but better in quality ,durability. I will always be an H/P guy. You can't go wrong with this printer. I highly recommend it!!

Simple instructions and easy to setup. Like that the paper tray lies flat so the paper does not curl over time. Top feeder clear and easy to use. Ink cartridges are easy to install.

Yeah it was less than a hundred and thats what I got. Too slow for the purpose it was bought for, will check with customer service if can be replaced with something else. Should have spent an extra 50-100 and got a real for office use printer.

It's fine on documents, but photo quality is not very good. It's not close to the quality of th HP Photosmart that I had before, and the Epson Artisan that I had a few years ago. Guess I'd need to buy a more expensive printer.

This is by far THE best printer/fax/copy/scanner machine EVER!!!!! I've been waiting patiently as it was sold out everywhere, I love it so much I purchased one for my sister. It's easy to use and it isn't noisy.

I liked my printer enough to purchase two. Have not really printed enough pictures to make a good prediction of photo quality which is why I purchased this printer. Will have more time later to venture in that direction.

We keep our HP Envy 7640 in a central location for use by all family members. This includes children/students, mom and dad - who runs a small business out of our home. Love it!

This printer generally does a good job at all the functions it performs. Two sided printing and WIFI capability are nice features. Biggest downside is that it is a ink hog, even if most printing is done in draft/economy mode.

Great buy! Love that I can print photos from my iPhone. It even has its own email address so all my girlfriends can send me love notes to me thru out the day. Easy setup and the touch screen menu is easy to navigate.

I'm actually surprised by the performance of my HP Envy 7640 -- much faster and more reliable than my 6180. The color quality of the 4x6 photos I've printed surpasses my expectations. I couldn't be more pleased with my purchase.

Couldn't figure out how to cook eggs with it but it does everything else. Also the spin cycle is a little bit off-center. How do I add attachments like A longer suction hose?

Setup is easy, I like the compact size but I don't like all color ink in a single cartridge and the image quality is poor for photos.
