For the cost does an acceptable job. Of course at this end of the spectrum first copy out is a little slow. Uses ink even if you don't make a lot of copies to maintain heads.

It's ok. It doesn't read correctly when printing from my Apple products. Not doing spaces when spaces were added to my documents. Some times prints on top of what was already printing

I've had problems getting the printer to work correctly. Have gone back to Best Buy a couple of times with questions as to why things aren't working correctly. For example, when trying to print 4 X 6 photos, no matter what "tray" I select, I get the error message that there is no paper loaded / detected. It will print on regular 8.5 X 11 paper... I also have not been able to find and set the printer to only print in black unless told to print in color... it wants to always use the color cartridges even for printing black and white text.

Purchased for an out of town event and it was a workhorse... saved a ton of money not having to use UPS or Fedex printing. Reliable, fast start up. Scanning and neat USB portal.

I like the printer very much. The wireless connection works very well. I have not used all the features and my score reflects that. The features that I have used are 5 stars all the way.

Needed a new printer and this was on sale. Worked out cheaper than replacement ink for current printer. This will be my first time trying the instant ink, we shall see...

This is an excellent printer for everyday use. The pictures are of "Photo Shop" quality. The printing speed is great and content is the best quality of any printer I have had in the past.

My old HP was just worn out, and I've had this model for a couple of months now and It has worked well, I like the scanning function, overall I am happy with my purchase.

Printer has decent quality but setup was difficult. There are a lot of options for setting up this product but it is a complicated process.

I work from home and use the printer scanner features frequently and no problems, I even bought one for my parents to use at their home.

Great copies and printing when it works. My iPhone 6plus has a hard time recognizing the printer through Wi-Fi. Called tech support the only way it would work was to turn off my Bluetooth on the phone and even that only works about 5% (yes just 5%) of the time. I wish I had my old printer back. I sold it and there was nothing wrong with it. It was working just fine. I dint want to buy ink for it so I bought this, "new and improved model", haha in me.

I got this printer as replacement for my earlier office jet pro 6830. The printer head of the office jet 6830 broke. So far the Envy 7640 doing good job. But I have to wait and see ....

Ease to set up printer was relatively simple. Set up for fax and scanner was a bit more challenging. Once set up complete, good reliability but somewhat short "ink life" / cartridge.

Love that the paper tray comes out automatically when something is getting ready to print. The HP app allows for printing directly from my phone and is a very nice feature!

The instructions were, typically, not helpful. I had a bit of a time trying to set my print/paper preferences. As far as the wireless functions, just what I wanted. The price was right.

It does everything I need it to do. It prints very quickly. Very easy to install ink. Prints quality pictures which I do a lot of. It is extremely easy to use. I like the size.

Work very well within a network. Will print from my iPad, iPhones, PC and Mac. Exactly why I chose this printer. Beautiful photo printing is a plus. Don't think twice to purchase.

Best Buy employee walked me through printers & then turned me over to a HP representative. Both were very helpful & ended up with a printer that was most suitable for my needs.

I needed a new printer that could handle text and artwork reproduction as well as scan items for digital communication. This printer does this and more so I am happy that I bought it.
