    Outdated firmware kept this from connecting to my AC1600 WiFi. I had to physically connect it to my router, then run a firmware update utility on the printer itself. No mention of this issue on HP support. Drivers worked fine with older versions of Windows 10, but refused to install on my Windows Server 2016. My guess is the drivers are not certified to the Windows 10 Anniversary code level, which is required to be supported on Server 2016. I could only get around the problem by directly connecting it to my Server 2016 machine via USB. In a nutshell, this printer was a nightmare to install, and until the drivers are updated, won't play nice with Anniversary Edition or Windows Server 2016. The printer also makes a noticeable humming sound, even when in power saving mode, which can be annoying.
