I will get to my beef Best Buy in a minute. The focus is right now on HP. The reason I have always stayed away from HP printers is because of how much they cost and after purchase costs to run. They have always had a bad rap for that, but was a dependable brand. Then I found the HP Envy 7640 e-All In One Printer and felt like I found a new bromance. This printer was flawless. I think I counted 1 or 2 paper jams within the whole time I owned it. I don't print but every so often and signed up for the Insta-Ink Program at $5.24 a month including the taxes which included 200 copies a month. I never ran out of ink and only used a total of 2 sets of cartridges which is almost nothing for a printer. and yes calling HP tech support is like wanting to be a subjected to Barney's "I Love You" song 24/7 for eternity. I did notice that the taskbar on my PC showed a "HP Scan to computer" message for quite some time. Again I don't print that often if almost ever so I thought that I would get to it later. The day came and I needed to call HP tech support (groan) to find out the problem as I have some experience in troubleshooting. After spending almost 2 hours troubleshooting it is found that it is most likely a hardware issue with the printer and cannot be fixed. The tech support agent offered to "Upgrade" me to another printer. I declined because I had Geek Squad Service to fall back upon. Now to Best Buy. I go to check my Geek Squad Status and was horrified to find out that my Black Tie Service Expired with this product but no communication from Best Buy whatsoever that it was going to expire. Best Buy ALWAYS sends an e-mail to let me know when my Black Tie Services contract is going to expire, no matter the product. Best Buy failed me and I was busy with other things I will admit and didn't write it down somewhere. I did try to activate the existing service but wasn't able to because it had been too much time. So now I have a HUGE paperweight in my house and I am not happy with HP. Nor am I happy with Best Buy at the moment.

A great printer, with all the functions working that I need!!

It seems to be ok, however, it is very difficult to check out how each feature works without a booklet. Online, downloaded etc. are very difficult to do when you're trying to do a step by step activity with the printer.

Easy to install. I like the two sided printing. Fast printing.
