Seems like a slow printer. Is normally a $200 Dell printer so I am not sure why it seems to have trouble printing.

Salesman gave me made a device. The product itself has a short cord for plug-in for the fax machine. Cannot find a longer one.

Repeated breakdowns, and HP technicians, whenever I could get through to them, could not fix it. I think that HP's TERRIBLE support and very poor reliability, in other products I have bought as well, make HP a brand TO AVOID. And of course they don't care AT ALL about customer service.

I have always been a huge hp fan as far as printers go. Always bought HP brand. They have become less and less sturdy over the years and this one I have only had a little over a year and it is broken. It had a paper jam and when I opened it up to clear there was a loose wheel and a broken spring. That is the end. When it worked it worked well.

Printer often has difficulty communicating with HP computer. Computer meets all "minimum requirements" and then some. Only way to re-establish printing ability is to reboot both computer and printer. Then in a day or two it all has to be rebooted again......and again.....and again!!!! Of course this usually happens when I need something printed in a hurry..............

It is next to impossible to make a Black and White print. There are no instructions that show how to consistently print in black and white. The printer will print in gray scale which uses more ink and makes smeary copies of news print. I set B& draft in printer shortcuts, click on the paper quality tab and it shows color. I change it to B&W apply and it defaults back to color.

not a very good experience and ended up taking it back -purchased a Epson WF - Have set up numerous printers etc., but this was a confusing set up - had frequent jamming and although the computer showed print as I needed, it continually only printed blank pages instead of what showed on the screen

This printer is fine for general printing, but falls way short on photo printing, nothing like the quality of my old hp photosmart printer. It is cable connected, but will go to energy conservation, and has to be disconnected to get it functioning again. I will be researching printers to find something that has much better photo quality. Not very happy with it!!

Bought this printer 2 years ago. in the beginning was ok. After one and a half years stopped printing in black. It only prints in black in Photo paper mode. Check the HP tech support and the solution there doesnt work. Was able to get it to print again after hours of installing software and drivers but now it quit. Would NOT recommend this printer. The internet is filled with issues like this for this model. Big disappointment since I always owned HP products and in general they are amazing. Called customer support and the technician just hang up on me
