This printer will not consistently print entire PDFs or Illustrator documents, generally cutting off @ 1/4 of the document.

Having issues with loading the paper, not what I expected

this printer is either slow or doesn't print at all half the time. NOT happy at all.. will NOT buy another product from them

This was a bad printer altogether so I returned it for something else that worked better for me.

Tried to set it up for 2 hours, put it back in the box and returned. It would never connect with my computer.

not compatible with 5G wifi did not work properly, would ask for restart printer again and again

No printer this size should have ink cartridges that small. I have purchased my last HP product.

The connection continues to out and I would have to restart and do the whole process over again.

Have yet to get it working with my computer! Husband, son and self tried to no avail

I could not get printer to print and plug would not connect to my comp. I TOOK IT BACK

At first it printed okay but after a few week the printer started printing sideways.

Can't get it to recognize the correct tray to print. So it won't print any thing.

The concept of the ink replacement plan is perfect for my printing needs.

My last 2 printers were made by Brother, but after 4 years the feeder would jam with only 1 or 2 sheets, so I decided it was time for a new printer when I purchased my new computer. I ordered a new Brother but had to return it because there was a problem with the software (or compatibility with my new computer). Even with help from the Geek Squad, it was impossible to install properly. Only the print function worked, and it was ridiculously slow. As it was within my 14 days of purchase, I paid a little more and exchanged it for the HP 7640. I am now LOVING my HP. It was very easy to install and set up. It prints and copies smoothly and clearly, and is fast. It scanned directly into an email. Even the 'draft' mode is dark compared to my old Brother. When copying it is easy to set the darkness/lightness on the machine, and I find that Lighter at 1/3rd down is the best for everyday printing while using the least amount of ink. I have not tried printing photos yet, so I cannot comment on that. As far as noise goes, it is about the same, or maybe a little less noisy than my 4 year old Brother. The Brother used to clean the jets after every page I printed, and rattled a lot when doing so, which was very annoying and time consuming. This HP makes noise when operating, but is quieter in comparison. I also love the touch screen, and the instructional videos. I love the chime when you place paper in the feeder properly. I love the tray that pops out automatically, so the papers don't fall on the floor. Also, it feels like it is sturdily built. So far, I have used it for about 2 weeks and have no complaints at all. I really enjoy using it.

HP printers are some of the most reliable this one has performed well so far.

Love this printer, copier, fax, scanner. I've deprived myself for years because my former HP Photosmart refused to die. I could not print from my iPhone or iPad, and I didn't know how much I was missing. After the Photosmart bit the dust, I went cheap and bought a Canon Pixma. The reviews looked good, and the price was dirt cheap. After WEEKS of not being able to get anything beyond basic and poor printing, I started reviewing options and came back home to HP. I visited my local Best Buy today and brought this gem home. It was super simple to set up, and EVERY function worked out of the gate! It's one of life's simple pleasure. Work great with my iMac ,iPad and iPhone. Glade I updated my printer.

Slow! Holds a limited amount of paper. Wish I had not purchased it.

I would not recommend this printer to friend or neighbor!
