I'm pleased with my new HP Envy 7640: Photos develop very nicely, Letters are nicely presented, The Printer is easy to use, relatively compact, and attractive to look at. (4.5 Stars)

Mostly satisfied. Printer was fairly easy to set up, copies are really good, wireless printing works well, ink usage good, able to print only black and save color cartridge. Cons: Paper handling: having to remove all paper to print envelopes, not easy switching between regular paper and photo paper.

I love this printer. It's fast easy to use, has touchscreen and wireless. I print from my phone more than anywhere else lol. Anyways it's a great product and I highly recommend it.

When I was at the place that my printer needed to be replaced (because it just did not do what I needed in a timely fashion), I went to Best Buy, consulted with the sales staff, and they recommended this printer (HP ENVY 7640. I honestly am not proficient enough to understand why printers work, but I can see IF they work. this HP Envy performs every task I place before it. Copy, scan, printing front and back etc. and has not failed even once (even though at times I used the cheapest paper I could find - not a normal practice). I heartily recommend it for those who do business "at home" with minimal (one) staff.

We have had the item for approx 6 wks - so far we are pleased and have no complaints with the product. In comparison to other similar products I would rate this as an excellent - easy to operate - love the instant ink availability -

Still trying to fiquire out the printer. Copies and photos sharp. I am still trying to fiquire out the double sided printing from the top feeder. It does not feed the original double sided copy from the top and scan and print. This is the fiture I was hoping for when I saw the top paper feeder.

We were trying to replace the quality print of an older HP printer and having a difficult time finding one. We explained to a Best Buy sales rep about our needs and the various ones we had tried. He suggested this one and it did meet our expectations and the Ink cost is better than most.

With the multipurpose options (fax/print/scan/copy), the set up including toner/photo/fax options were rather simple. Printing from multiple devices was rather smooth as well.

I got the printer easy setup, just followed the instructions and it was good to go. I haven't had a problem with it so far. I love the hp freeink program. It prints double sided pages on its own, it's great that you don't have to flip it. overall good printer, I would recommend it to every one.

This printer was easy to set up and works fine for most work. The only negative thing I have experienced is that photos are not quite as good as those from an older Canon printer. Other than that, I am very satisfied with this printer. Being able to print from from my IPhone and iPad is a real plus.

This is a really great printer. I can print from my iPad and phone. It will print pictures along with the normal printer functions. Good price along with great functions.

I purchased this printer after reading how easy it was to set up. It was all true. Very simple to set up . Upon arrival, I was set up and ready to go in less than 20 minutes. It works great. Every computer in my home is all set to print and scan. The fax setup was super easy as well.

Be sure to purchase the correct type of photo paper due to the quickness of print, ink will not dry on other type and your photos will come out similar to a negative-live and learn!

The only thing I don't like about the printer is the closed printer tray. I need to print address labels immediately after a letter so I have to stop, use both hands to open and insert the lables. But that's it. Overall nice printer

So far this has been a great printer. We can print wirelessly from our computers, tablets and phones and it's easy and pretty straight forward. Takes a minute to get going when you send the job to the printer but once it starts it prints pretty fast. Great for documents and invoices, have not tried printing photos with it yet, but that's not why I bought it. Copier function works great, will probably never use the fax. Love that I don't have to go to the store to buy ink. Signed up for HP's ink program and they send me ink when the printer tells them I'm running low. Overall I feel this was a great purchase.

I primarily bought this printer as a fax machine, since it is on my network everyone uses it as a printer as well and it does a good job. It is a great printer for the small amount of money. It has a lot of good features.

I am really happy with this printer as it lets you use the Instant Ink program. Color is great, easy to use and holds a lot of paper so I am not always running out. I am a visual person so I print out a lot of my email and ideas from internet. Does duplex printing without jamming.

The fax portion of our old All-in-One stopped working (efax) was the reason for needing a new printer. This HP 7640 was easy to setup and uses a phone line to fax which is easy to setup and use. Overall just a very good working machine. As an added value, it was on sale when bought.

still learning all the features , is fast and copies come out better then original . Having problems with Photo Tray , no matter how I try and all the settings I acn access , it will not print from the photo tray , however if I load photo paper in the letter tray , it will print photos .

I still have this printer it works very well for the things that I need to get done I love the fact I could just print right from my phone wherever I am at my house if I'm on vacation and I can just send it and print them it's an amazing printer great quality
