The HP Envy 7640 is a great printer. Photos print beautifully. This printer is NOT noisy as others have stated. It is sturdy and works fine. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a replacement for the "photo smart" printers that HP discontinued.

I picked up the HP ENVY 7640 after my old HP finally died. That old HP I had forever and getting that thing hooked up to wifi was no easy task. This ENVY 7640 was so easy to set up!! I was up and running in less than 30 mins. I downloaded the software which was a breeze and the quality of print even on draft is terrific. I am in college and have a daughter in College, we will get a lot of use out of this printer!!! I haven't printed photos yet but after my vacation next week I'm sure I will. Definitely recommend this printer!!

This printer is a nice size for home use, doesn't take up too much room on the desk. It was easy to set up. I love printing directly from my phone.

Nice, inexpensive printer with low-cost cartridges, decent resolution. Works great for my wife and I who are professionals who work from home, scan documents for clients and record-keeping, and have a need to occasionally print photos. I wouldn't recommend this for a photo hobbyist who demands 9600+ resolution; but it's good enough for our photo albums and desktop photos at my office. The only other drawback is it's a bit slow to print the first page (about 30-60 seconds), so I'm giving it 4-stars. Still, it met my expectations at a great price, so I'd buy it again.

we are pleased with the printer now that it is installed. we are using it with a macbook and the online installation instructions left a lot to be desired. i have had other HP printers but this one does do a much better job and seems to use less ink.

Well I like it I thought it would be hard to hook up, but it wasn't it's wireless so that's a change but I really like this printer iy does a lot of different things I haven't learned all to be learned yet but so far great purchase well worth the money

Pretty reliable although it tends to get disconnected from the network often, to the point that before you print you sometimes need to run the network settings again.. Printing quality is good!!

Just purchased the HP-Envy to replace my Canon Pixma printer. I've always been afraid of HP's because of bad past experiences, but must admit the Envy series is an improvement. Much faster printing times, affordable ink cartridges and set-up was so easy my 13 year old son did it for me. The wireless printing feature is awesome...can now print form phone, iPad, laptop from anywhere in the house. Printing pictures is not top quality but serviceable...didn't buy it for that purpose. Waiting to see about its ink usage but so far so good. Overall a great affordable multi function printer!

Great machine for the money. Very well packed. For the most part just unpack and set up. Very easy to install. From the time I opened and got it running was less that ten minutes. It took me longer to figure were I wanted to put it. I give it 5 stars.

I recently purchased this printer and have been happy with the quality of printing and copying that I have done with it. It also can scan and print photos, and fax. I like that you are able to use the fax tray to scan multiple pages into one document.

I purchased this printer because I needed one that worked with Windows 10. I have a HP desktop and had HP printer so I stuck with HP. I read reviews, and to be honest, hoped this printer would work for me. It really has. I went on line to set up the printer and it was so easy. In fact, I couldn't believe it when it was finished. The printer works well, and despite what some other reviews say, mine does not turn off. It just goes into sleep mode but once I hit print it turns on automatically. Consumers rated it highly and so do I.

Printer working fine. However your salesman Art almost blew the sale. Was on my way out of store and another associate asked if I found everything. He walked us back to printer area and answered all questions and even hooked it up to test it out.

Prints very nice photo's and it prints documents just as well. It was very easy to install and setup. Everything I need in a wireless printer!

I review this before, but it prompt again for me to review it. Just wanted say, I love this printer. I had a Brother, it had 4 cartridge and the black ink kept drying up and if one of the color ink runs out the black ink wouldn't print. But this Envy has only two ink cartridge, and would still print in black ink if the color runs out. Which I think is awesome. It prints beautiful in color, It's an easy set up, I had no problem setting up the Wi-Fi. I'm so happy with my purchase I would definitely recommend this printer.

Very quiet and fast compared to the still operational HP 2410 that it replaced due to lack of Win10 drivers. The document feeder is a nifty convenient advance, Had trouble getting a fax through to one recipient but the problem could be on their end.

Easy setup, stays connected, works great, not to loud and easy to use. Can print from my MacBook Pro with ease. Very good purchase!

main use is general at home printing , wireless capability is awesome . everyone in my house can use this printer and not even be in the same room. i read many bad reviews about this printer before buying, but i haven't had any issues yet.

I originally bought another brand printer and was very disappointed. I decided to research more and found the HP Envy,I had an HP before and should have stuck with one again. I'm so pleased with the HP Envy with all its whistles and bells!

I love this printer. It's super cool. It's very convenience that I can print from multiples devices. It's fast. The quality of the pictures is great.

I work ALOT from home and needed a machine that could take all the demands that I could dish out. This one did it. The top scanner feed takes about 25 pages, anything more and it might stick. The copy output is very nice and the fact that the little paper arm comes out automatically when you hit print is cool. (not included in instruction manual as i tried to pry it out myself). The price made it excellent choice and since its completely wireless/wifi, it basically connected itself right out the box. Easy as pie.
