I work ALOT from home and needed a machine that could take all the demands that I could dish out. This one did it. The top scanner feed takes about 25 pages, anything more and it might stick. The copy output is very nice and the fact that the little paper arm comes out automatically when you hit print is cool. (not included in instruction manual as i tried to pry it out myself). The price made it excellent choice and since its completely wireless/wifi, it basically connected itself right out the box. Easy as pie.

I am a sales rep that works from a home office. This all in one printer definitely can handle my standard day to day business needs as well as my wife's picture prints. Good value as well.

I am glad I brought this printer. We have tried so many printers over the years, but this is one step above the rest. It scans, prints, and copies well among other things. You can even print from your phone via WIFI!

I purchased this printer to replace another HP printer that died. All in all this printer is ok, though I liked my old one better. After getting it all set up I've been able to do all the functions-printing, copying, and scanning-that I need. The printer easily connects to my iPhones and iPad. I've had 2 problems. I can't scan from the printer's control panel, I have to open the printer software from my PC and do a scan command. No big deal, though not efficient. 2nd issue is that the printer freezes periodically. The only way to unfreeze it is to disconnect the printer from the power and then powering it up again. Don't know what is causing that. Print quality is very good.

I usually rely on Hewlett Packard products for high quality. I was not disappointed with this purchase. I was hoping for faster scanning but that is the only reason it got 4 stars not 5.

I was needing a good all around printer & after looking at the reviews & talking with several people about I decided to go with the HP Envy 7640...and I'm really glad I did...less then 30 minutes from start to finish & I was up and printing.

The printer was easy to setup as a network printer and to use. Prints double sided perfectly. I scanned to flash drive, hundreds of document pages of different mixed sizes using the auto-feed without any problems. I am happy with my choice.

Although I have not really run this printer through the paces so far it is excellent and fast in basic black. The color printing for a resume was terrific as well. Set up is tedious.

I work at home , it’s so convenient. It’s all in one - fax , copy , and print. Also my high school son can print and copy his assignments as well so there’s no more excuse as to why his assignments are not done! Lol

Relatively easy setup out of the box. No wifi errors. Great text printing even when using lowest resolution setting. Performs flawlessly when my wife needs to print. That's great news for me! 4 stars as I have not tested every feature yet.,

I bought this printer because of its capabilities as a fax, scanner, and copier. I love that it also had the wireless capabilities to print from my phone, or computer via an email. Great printer, and the added HP ink replacement program given FREE to try for 3 months then $3.00 as month after that to NEVER run out of ink was a deal to good to pass up!

Love this wireless printer. Works great. Hated having to connect my laptop to my old printer via usb every time I wanted to print something. Now I can print from anywhere in my home from any of my mobile devices (laptop, iPad, iPhone).

Great Printer. It’s compact, quiet and the quality is good. It also has the ink replacement and I Love it.

Prints very good quality in black and color. Easy to use print menus. Low profile allows placement in small areas like desk spaces.

Very good printer. Performed all the functions that I needed. Wireless capability allowed me to set up printer other than next to PC. Scanner is adequate for basic documents and photos. The paper tray adjusts to various photo paper sizes. Prints out faster than my old unit. The USB and Carder reader slots allow printing without a computer/tablet. Only negative was that it prints photos a little darker than original, which required adjusting. That capability is built into the printer as well.

I had another printer, which was not an easy printer to use and finally I gave up on it. I purchased the hp because I had one years ago. This new hp is so easy to use, and I am very happy that I purchased it. It is a great printer

This is 3rd HP Envy 7640 we've purchased for us and parents. It has worked flawlessly as wireless printer and multisheet scanner. On sale it's less that $100. It supports 2-sided printing, scanning to card or computer. We use web service to print to non-computer savvy elderly parents. Seldom print photos (why when Costco is so cheap!) but should do fine. It's a bit big but you can put it anywhere, just needs a power outlet. Never had connectivity issues. Haven't needed to read manual.

Hello. I've had this printer for a few months now and absolutely love it. I really like the fact that I can email documents from anywhere and from all my devices directly to the printer. Have had no issues with it so far. Thanks HP!

Excellent printing , colors and quality. very good for small business . Fast enough to comply with my business need and even my kids school projects ! I like it and recommend it

This is one of the best printers I have ever had ! I love it's remote printing capabilities ! It is extremely easy to set up and the ink usage is very economical. I would recommend this HP printer to anyone, beginner or pro !
