Envy 7640 is a reasonably priced yet high quality printer. Using two 62 print cartridges, it appears to be easier on the ink pocketbook than my prior HP Photosmart.

Our old printer HP photosmart 7520 died. We got the HP - ENVY 7640 Wireless e-All-in-One Printer as a replacement, Prints photos the same quality at the old printer. Also ink is cheaper because it only uses 2 cartridges.

Love this Hp all in one printer. Had a Cannon and it was the most difficult machine to program. Have other Hp printers and this company designs their products affording ease and understanding to the consumer. Love it!

I upgraded from the HP Photosmart B210 series and love the top paper feed, better 2 sided printing and better photo tray and the quality along with wifi is much better

Overall like the features and ease of use. Had read in other reviews difficulty with communication b/w printer and computer. Have had this problem on numerous occasions. Turns out that when you set up you have ability to do so as a network. THis can cause issues if the internet provider changes portals (or what ever they change). Need to turn off the modem and then reboot to rest the system. Kind of a pain in the neck but once I figured out to reboot modem every time there is an error is quickly fixed.

I purchased this printer after speaking to sales team in store and have been very satisfied with it.

I had some difficulty when I loaded the disc to start the printer. Called the HP phone number for help and was answered by someone from India. I had trouble understanding the technician. He was not helpful for a while and I had to prod him to just answer my question rather than wanting to change software on my computer. Although I am using my wireless printer but periodically it goes offline and I have to delete it and re install it on my computer. I'd like to know how to correct this problem.

I changed from another brand and I was pleased to find all the bells and W... along with clear and easy to use menu. I like my HP printer, buy one for home or office.

This HP printer is super user friendly and makes printing a breeze. I used to have a regular printer without wireless capabilities, and it was time consuming to take my laptop over to the printer and connect the wires each time. However with the wireless printing capacity of this printer, printing is now effortless. All I do sent it over wirelessly and then just pick it up. The printing quality is great and quick, I would highly recommend it for both home and office settings.

Does it all and it's wireless...just wish you could fax without landline....very sleek :) Bought in store...Best Buy guys are always so helpful and in the know!

Came in for another device but ended up speaking with the HP rep that was in on. Discussed different features including cartridges. Installed and have used many times. Very good product. Easy to install and easy to use.

Having utilized this printer/all-in-one now for more than 6 weeks, it is certainly an adequate addition to the home office. I have faxed from it, copied on it, scanned numerous items, and printed more than two hundred-fifty pages on it, both in vivid color and b/w. Pictures do indeed come out looking spectacular - and dry, as promised by the HP representative in the Best Buy location. It is everything it was sold to be. The reason it only gets 4 stars is two-fold. I have yet to get new ink through Instant Ink program via HP, which I signed up for within days of its purchase and installation. Secondly, the print head would not align for two weeks straight, even after following the directions from HP for such an issue - and then one day, out of the blue, it aligned and started functioning again. I honestly thought I was going to have to return the device and try a different all-in-one. Now, two weeks later, it is working once again, all though it still refuses to print certain items, like coupons within an e-mail. However, by "trading in" my old HP all-in-one, returning all of its unopened ink, utilizing a "My Best Buy" certificate, and matching the Best Buy online price, I was able to purchase the printer for no cost at all - in fact, I was able to get additional ink at no cost as well! Therefore I can live with a couple of hiccups. The brilliance of the color reproduction is quite amazing - this alone makes this purchase an easy 4-star..

I would recommend this printer it printers great very easy to use plus the fax machine it works great ! Love it!!

While it is early to give a full report, this machine seems to be a real good buy. It is my fourth HP printer and so far this one was the easiest one install and operate.

New printer does a great job. Is faster than old printer which is great and the quality in color is great also. Miss separate colored inks tho. Didn't have one in brand I wanted and in my price range so this will suffice.

This printer was very easy to set-up AND you do not need to purchase a separate USB cable. The software is very user friendly and I highly recommend this printer to anyone looking for a multi-purpose device...

We bought this printer to replace a three year old hp printer. One thing we needed was for the printer to fax. Yes I know faxes are outdated BUT there are some businesses that require a fax. This printer does a great job connecting to all our electronic devices. The print quality for docs is excellent. Photo printing is good but I would not recommend if your looking for top notch detailed pics. All in all it does a very nice job. We are very happy with it!

Faxing, printing from my phone or iPad, scanning to email, all worked great with minimal direction or instruction. Highly recommend for all home office needs.

This is the best printer I've ever had. Just more complex than I am used to. Easy to set up, easy to network I just can't figure out how to scan from my computer and not have to scan from the printer. Smarter than me.

We had to replace our old printer This printinger has so many great features and the wireless option is all we use with out any issues. The printer is in the spare bedroom. We have never had a print request fail!
