I like the printer so far. I've not had one that does double sided printing before. I also like the photo paper feed. The print seems pretty good so far. Not so sure about the amount of ink used. I'm not saying it's bad. I'm saying I'm not sure yet. What I don't like are the instructions. That book is WORTHLESS. I'm not a genius, but I'm not stupid either (I hope). I finally managed to set up the thing and use it. But lots of frustration because the book doesn't really explain anything. If the instructions were better, I'd give it a higher rating. Lots of frustration getting the thing to work.

Very user friendly. Set-up was a breeze, linked it with my other devices, making printing very convenient. The HP Instant Ink program is an added bonus.

This is a great printer for home & school projects. Prints your 4x6 photos right from your phone. Beautiful results!!

I checked out some reviews about this printer and thought it sounded pretty good. I like being able to print from multiple devices. I also like the HP Printables feature to print such things as coloring pages.

The specs on this printer are great, like having the document feeder for scanning multi pages. Printer is very quiet & starts fast. I joined the HP Instant Ink Program, nice not to ever run out of ink again!

I purchased this excellent HP envy 7640 printer about a month ago after reading many product reviews. This inexpensive printer ($109 on sale) replaced the $400 hp c510a all in one eprinter that died due to printhead failure after 5 years of limited service. Setup was easy. This new printer prints, scan, and copies fantastically well. It goes to sleep mode until I decide to print from my android phone or iPad or Windows 10 computer anywhere from my home. Then it auto turns on and prints the document or photo. It prints good photos from an sd card, Galaxy s4 phone or iPad, but not quite as sharp and clear as the original. I have not used the fax yet, but setup was easy and fax test report indicates it passed. So far I love this printer. How long the printer will endure, only time will tell.

Set up was easy. wi fi connect to my computer is great. Much faster than the HP printer I replaced (after 10 years of hard use it died). I always go with HP because it does what I want and lasts a long time.

I've had my printer for a couple of months and I can't print from my tablet or cell phone. This is very annoying. It does print great pictures and fax is good.

So far I love my printer but I didn't see reason to get the HP ink plan. I rather just buy my own ink then only be able to print a certain amount of pages per month. I think it's a gimmick to get more money.

First, the disk that comes with this printer all in one did not work. Called HP for support they use your computer to remotely try to connect. The person I got knew next to nothing. I was more pro active seeing what she missed with set up but there are still issues pending and they will not send you a replacement disk! I still have issues, can not get updates, print requests go in que & don't print out right away. I only gave it 3 stars due to it does have nice print quality.

Replaced an old HP 4620 that finally died. Very happy with it--fast, clean, good for everyday printing as well as photos. Scanning is quick and easy. Will try HP Instant Ink as well--seems like a good deal.

the customer service was outstanding! they walked me through the hook-up and the scanning wireless feature with aplomb. well done HP. finally, the ink plan makes this deal one of the best i have ever found.

If you can think of something that needs to be printed, scanned or faxed this can help you get that done. Easy to use interface and the fact it auto updates makes this a great printer to have at the house.

With two desk laptops and a desk top, this printer is perfect. The quality of prints is wonderful . Both photos and documents come out perfect and ready to use.

Wonderful printing quality; have not used the scan or fax yet. It was a breeze to set up, just followed the guidelines and had it set up within 20 minutes and I am not the most techie person. Would definitely advise this purchase for routine use at home. Not sure how it would stand up to a busy office use.

I bought this as a replacement for the trashy epson all in one printer, its a lot better and more reliable than my old printer. The only thing I dont like its the paper tray, too flimsy. Everything else is fine.

Wow! Wireless, Instant Ink Package. What a deal, never again have to worry about ink running out, what cord goes to printer or where I am. Can print from anywhere, even from my phone.

Although I don't use my printer often, it was a great purchase for me. I uploaded Windows 10 to my HP Pavilion lap top when W 10 first came out, the other printers that were given to me some time ago would no longer work with my computer due to the fact that they were too old and didn't have the software available to them. This printer works great for me!
