I bought this printer for mainly three reasons: 1: My Canon MP600 from about 10 years ago stopped printing on standard settings (print head issue). 2: This was rated very high on Consumer Reports. 3: Ink is inexpensive. Setup was easy and it prints. I have not printed any photos yet to know the quality. Scanning is also simple. It is slightly louder than my Canon and I notice this when there is no other noise in the house and would not be a deal breaker.

I hate reading reviews that are given right after a product is purchased. So, I waited a bit to make sure I actually like this printer. I do! It was easy to set up and I love the ability to print from my phone! We don't print a ton, but after having it in use for a couple of months, we haven't had any problems.

This is a great printer for an ink printer. I wanted a laser printer but a color one was out of my price range. This printer is still a great bargain. It is a little loud, but prints fast and good quality.

Fast, quality is good given ink combo and price point. Yes you are limited on printing stock sizes, but very rarely would i need legal size so went with this smaller footprint. Right now setup as wireless and connects to variety of devices from all operating systems with no problem. Sound level is about the same as any other inkjet, you know it's printing. Have not printed photos yet, so I can't give rating on that part. Otherwise very satisfied.

I am pretty much a HP buyer, I've went to Cannon once and regretted it. I bought this to update my old HP printer. I also wanted one that had the Instant Ink. The ease of printing from anywhere is fantastic and it prints pretty quickly. I do wish it had more printables like HP used to have but that's just me. It prints photos with such vivid color, and so far not one issue with the printer. Its not huge so it doesn't take tons of shelf space.

It an HP, what else is there to say. Owning an HP printer has never been disappointing. Copy or Print - from the bed or top feeder. Double side printing is available. Scan directly to your computer. Use the USB to print as well. It's compact and fits virtually anywhere. The power plug unfortunately plugs straight in and not at an angle in the back, not a biggie but it does cause the unit to slightly forward. It's by far one of the best HP printers I've owned.

The HP - ENVY 7640 Wireless e-All-in-One Printer is wirelessly connected to our network. We have only had it for about 2 months. Everyone in the family uses it for personal printing. So far it has been great.

I bought this printer for the fax. I found it extremely easy to set up and the print quality is very good. Oh, and faxing is effortless. All in all a great printer. Love the ink refill program too!

great reviews the reason for the purchase easy out the box installation, the old printer would never stay connected.

Bought this printer to replace an Epson. Love this new printer especially since we can print direct from our iPads. Ink seems to last longer than our previous printer which is a bonus.

I've had the HP ENVY 7640 for about a month and I love the quality of the print. I've owned HPs for several years and would never buy anything else. HP is a great product and this printer is great.

This printer replaced an older HP -- and with a great difference! Hooked up to network without a hitch ... and very pleased with automatic duplex printing. Print quality is excellent for pictures and documents. We are very happy with this printer, and I'm glad that I bought this printer rather than the one I'd originally planned to buy (it was out of stock! :) )

Printer has done everything asked of it and then-some. Did not think it would work this good. Use this printer for business, provides great copies, clear, and smudge proof and all for under $140.00.

I have always been delighted with my HP printers and I am now delighted to have one that prints on both sides as well. Using wirelessly and it is so fast to get the projects finished. Love it!!

The HP Envy 7640 printer does it all, print, copy, fax, prints pictures. Easy set-up. I like that it only uses 3 ink cartridges instead of 5, so it saves me money on ink. Printing is fast and sharp.

I bought this printer for printing some color images for my son's science fair project. The printer is quick, the images are vivid, and it has a relatively small footprint. I can't wait to try photos.

Fast and Sleek. Great job on scanning and multi-page scanning jobs. Love the wireless attachments and ability to pring from tablets and phones using HP ePrint. Couldn't have asked for a better model.

Convenient & reliable. Lives up to HP standards. The ease of loading and color definition is superb. The installation was a snap and consistant with previous HP printers we have had over the years.

Great printer for the money. Has all the features needed for home use. Love that you can print from a wireless device such as a cell phone or tablet. A little bulky for what we needed but performs well

Works well and fired right up out of the box. Easiest instal ever. Then I was able to instal the drivers on my lap top with little effort after a brief web search. Wish I could give it 6 stars.
