Customer Ratings & Reviews

I found this new printer very easy to install and operate once installation was completed. More importantly the scanning, done less frequently, is easy to use as well.

I started working from home and needed a printer to serve my small office need, as well as serve the needs of my family. Works great and very happy with the purchase.

Like the ink plan so I never run out of ink. The quality of the copies is very good. I am still figuring out all of the possibilities of this printer.

I was not looking for a heavy duty printer, rather one that would meet our occasional use needs with fairly inexpensive ink. The HP Envy series was rated well by consumer reports, so I decided to give this one a try. Installation was easy, and the prints are on par with my previous printer (decent, but not fantastic quality). I read other reviews that complained about the noise. The printer isn't quiet, but I don't think it is that loud. Print speed is adequate considering how rarely we print. The paper tray is a bit small, but otherwise no real complaints so far!

I have no probalons I have tried 3 other printers, this one was easy to set up andceasy to use. I am very pleased with the HP. I enjoy having a unit that I can depend on.

Great printer and scans well. Photos are good quality. Goes through ink really fast with photo printing however I think this is the case with most multifunction printers.

wonderful salesman who directed me tot his printer that suits my needs to a TEE... easy to set up and works great. Definitely recommend this and buying at Best Buy

Bought this to replace an ailing printer. What a great improvement and design. excellent photos and text. Keep up the great design work HP and I will keep purchasing.

Works as described and as sales person told me. I was happy that I could buy at a lower price through BB miss pricing a end cap. Thanks BB for standing behind your error.

I bought this printer for my small business. quick and clean B&W and Color printing... the added bonus is that it does a decent job of printing family photos too!

This is a great wireless printer. It's fast and quiet and with terrific resolution. I would highly recommend this printer. It's easy to use from any smartphone.

This product does it all, and seems to do it all very well! It was super simple to set up, and has worked without any problems since. (That was about six weeks ago.)

The printer is super easy to install with Android application but hard with Windows so do your computer second. Everything else about the printer so far is great

This printer faxes, scans, prints quality pictures and does everything it needs to help my home office function better.

Just what I was looking for; ability to print from anywhere in house from desktop or iPad. Fantastic. Highly recommend.

Just replaced my HP6500 all in one after 4 years. The Envy was inexpensive and is very easy to use. Connectivity is very good. Perfect for a medium volume home user.

the HP Envy 7640 does everything I want to do, particularly printing excellent photos, a hobby of mine. I would recommend it to everyone looking for a good printer.

I bought this because I needed something compact and all the features sounded great. After I get it up I couldn't get the wireless connection to work. Anytime I wanted to scan an email I had to put in a pin that hp assigned me..why if it's for personal/home use?. When it would scan/register other printers it kept picking up my old printer that I no longer use. I returned it and got a epson workforce 3640. It's a bigger, but the set up took 10 minutes and I've had no problems with it..

The printer that I purchased has fulfilled all of my expectations and the sales person who suggested the printer was right on with his suggestion.

went looking for a picture printer but came home with this one ,, it will do photo quality 4x6 but not the huge ones like i was looking for ,, seems good enough
