Bought this printer based on salesperson recommendation after I swore I would NEVER buy another HP printer. Decided to give them one more try. Setup was easy. We print from multiple devices flawlessly. Joined monthly ink program and am happy so far. Prints fast and clean. Love the double sided printing to save paper. Have not printed a picture yet but think it will be good

Printer works great...has all the features I need and is very fast. Uses only two cartridges and I love that.

I am so happy with this printer HP Envy 7640. I can print, scan, email, copy and fax. plus photos. I can even print from my phone in the other room lol.

Always had trouble with printers. The LCD screen has easy step by step instructions that even the most challenged person can follow. Great price as well

Very good printer, but I wish they would make universal ink cartridges. Every time you change printers, you are left with a bunch of old ones that you can't use.

So easy to set up and get working right out of the box. It's quick, has great printing quality and is quiet. Love to print from my iPhone and iPad wirelessly

I don't know how to work my brand new wireless printer yet but maybe one day soon. It does seem easy to work with!

I've had this all-in-one printer/copier/scanner/fax for a month and so far so good. I purchased this after my many-year-old HP Photosmart broke and it appears to be comparable -- the main difference being that it has a single color cartridge instead of three. It is reasonably fast -- especially when directly connected via the provided USB cable. PCs connected via wireless network experience some buffering delays but it's no different from my previous Printer. Both black-and-white and color documents look excellent. I haven't yet tried it for photos yet but it was well rated in Consumer Reports. I especially like that it has a USB-stick port for directly scanning to (and printing from). If you set up it's network with HP you can even print remotely via email using the unique 12 character email address HP provides. (so far I haven't gotten any accidental printouts -- with 12 characters the email addresses should be wide apart as they didn't assign them sequentially). It came with starter cartridges that lasted just long enough to get additional ink delivered. It supports Instant Ink but I haven't decided if it's worthwhile deal so I'm purchasing ink using discounts that HP regularly provides me once you register a printer on their website.

This is a fantastic replacement for an older non-wireless model. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good, inexpensive, wireless all-in-one model.

prints great but a little confusing when it is used for both wifi and direct connection. It gets confused and falls asleep. Probably me so I will study more.

My old HP c7200 printer started to have issues. After some research I purchased the 7640. It was very easy to set up with Windows 10 and it worked great.

Went wireless for this printer.Wanted the conveience. setup was fairly simple.Haven't had any problems yet.

Easy setup, lots of features, GREAT price. I looked at several places for printers and found this excellent printer with so many features for a SUPER good price.

Easy to install and when I did have a problem, HP was easy to work with and called me back the next day to be sure problem was resolved.

no problems with set up.. Only bad thing was I did not receive a starter cartridge and had to wait to start printing. First printer I ever set upnby myself.

I am not the best with instructions but installation of this printer was easy. I am of the older generation but setting up the printer was a breeze for me.
