I have printed from my computer, iPad and iPhone without any difficulty. Pictures turned out great. Extremely easy set up.

Easy to use. Simple to connect. Good quality photos and print. Too soon to know how printer cartridges last under heavy use. Did need to search online for additional drivers to add to an HP laptop computer. Downloaded and now having some difficulty reconnecting the printer to the network. I am sure it will work out.

Easy setup to start printing right away. Modern features are choice of wired or wireless, duplex printing, print from mobile phone and load multiple pages to copy. Photo tray works very well. HP assistant provides detailed printer data on screen so you don't have to go through menu buttons on the printer itself.

Bought this printer to print hockey programs. the print quality is great compared to the desk jet that I was using.

I use this printer mainly to print receipts and appointments for customers. It is consistent, reliable and the print is very good. Very easy to change ink cartridges. The only problem is the paper tray. It does not seem to fit together properly. I have used several other HP printers and never experienced this problem

I still cannot get photos to print. I am going to have a friend take a look. He helped me install the printer after a strange company intercepted my installation offering services I had to pay or $200 for. I finally got the transaction cancelled and another company tried to offer services to install my printer. I suggest you investigate this problem as I am sure I am not the only person who was accosted by these companies. They led me to believe HP had hired them to service their customers.

This printer has changed our lives! With 2 high school students there's lots of papers that need to be printed and now they can write the papers in there room, tap print and go to sleep. The quality is great and it's relatable. Wireless is amazing, I even can print my coupons from my phone with 1 touch!

So far so good the quality of the printing is great and the cost of replacement ink is much lower then my other printers.

This printer does exactly what I expected so I have no complaints. I wanted one that could copy/scan/print, but having an enclosed paper tray was pretty important for me too so no dust got sent through the rollers like my last Canon printer did with the paper exposed. However, if I let the printer go to sleep it makes a weird electronic "humming" noise unless I turn it off, but then I can't wirelessly print on demand if I turn it off. But since it's sitting in the office it's not a big deal.

After researching many many printers I decided to buy this one and I'm glad I did. Great printer at a great price !!

This printer has a nice print quality and prints really fast which is nice to not have to wait for it to get done.

I purchased the HP Envy 7640 printer to replace a HP Photosmart D5160. The D5160 served me well for printing documents as well a photos in black and white and color. I printed from a desktop to the HP Photosmart using a USB interface. With the HP Envy 7640 I can now scan, copy, print photos and documents and Fax all from the same hardware wirelessly. The printer system was easy to set up for all functions. I can eprint from my iOS based phones and tablets without a hitch over wireless. I can also eprint photos and documents remotely over the internet using the HP ePrint feature. All documents and photos print and meet my expectations. I have setup the Fax portion successfully but do not plan to use this feature much. I have yet to send or receive a Fax but plan to test this feature soon and anticipate no problems. The printer and scanner/copier works quietly and is fast enough for my purposes. The ink cartridges are easy to install. I don't not have enough run time to get a feel for ink consumption but will report back in time.
