I replaced my 7 year old desktop with this model. It powers on and off very quickly. It handles all of the programs that I run. I am not a gamer so graphics and ultra fast processors are not required. It has enough storage to to last for years. I get from a desktop for about 1/3 the price of a laptop.

Perfect for everyday use. Casual gaming, business runs good, even big games like Forza5, GTA5, COD. Great PC for its price

Don't know too much about computers and their specs but the performance of this computer is satisfactory to my needs. It boots up quickly, ready to use in well under a minute. Doesn't slow down while having multiple tabs and programs running. User guide is helpful and informative. I'm no avid gamer but it runs Starcraft 2 flawlessly, although I haven't tested out the full capacity of the graphics card as it is hooked up to a 1080p smart tv via HDMI port. Its no dedicated gaming PC but should be able to run most if not all PC games with decent graphics with its i5 core and 12GB memory (which can also be upgrade). It does not have a disc drive, which is ok for most people, but it would be great if i could also watch my blu ray collection on it. They do offer one with a disc drive and I a stronger processor for a couple hundred more dollars, but my budget was around $700.

The HP - Envy Desktop is an instructor's machine that requires connecting to a Hitachi Smartboard. It was a relief that it connected without issue. The device has plenty of ports to make it a robust desktop and the build quality is excellent. I like that it came with 12 GB of memory and 1TB of SSD at a competitive price. Windows 11 runs well on this machine.

Have used for over 2 years and very solid performer. Fast, reliable and easy to maintain.

Got this for my parents and so far so good, no issues and they are very pleased. (55+) This PC was easy for them to set up and get right to using! I work for Geek Squad and even I was surprised how little help they asked of me. Fast, reliable, affordable pc from HP. i5 is a nice cpu, nothing crazy. but it meets all their needs. The 12gb is also not to shabby considering the most they do is picture editing and emails/small games. But you can always upgrade that later on if need be. The 1TB SSD is a really nice addition for my parents, especially with the amount of pictures they have. All in all this is a solid computer for the price. 4/5 stars HP!

Very fast, very solid, has revolutionized my home office. Quiet and capable

This computer is much faster, probably because it's new. I can tell the effects of the solid state hard drive compared to my old one.

My old HP desktop (purchased in 2009) was getting long in the tooth. Even after upgrading the RAM, it ran pretty slow since the chip in it was ancient by this point. This new model is lightning fast as expected and comes with a wireless mouse and keyboard -something new to me. So far, I have no complaints. it does everything well as expected. There is no longer an optical disc drive, but I can count the number of times I actually used my old one on my right hand. I think this desktop is well worth considering for the price.

I really liked this computer and it was a good value for the price. The Best Buy product delivery and customer service was the best part of the purchase experience. Fast. Regular Updates. Damage free.

Meets all of my needs. It much faster than my old pc and has much more memory. It has plenty of ports. It fits under my desk with room to spare. The sales rep was very knowledgeable and understood my needs. He even carried it out to my car.

My old pc Stella died a slow death and the geek squad couldn’t save her. However, I was excited to learn about her replacement from the Geek team and she was cloned from from Stella. So stella lives again as Bella. It’s a great PC

I am not using this computer as your typical workstation. Before even powering it on for the first time, I swapped out the memory for 32GB of RAM and installed Debian Linux onto the M2 drive. Additionally, I installed a pair of 6TB spinning disks into the chassis - although it only has one bay for a 3.5" disk, so I had to get creative to mount the second drive. The motherboard supports three SATA drives in addition to the M2 slot. The OS is installed on the M2 drive and all my data is stored configured as RAID1 for redundancy on the SATA drives. This computer has a 6-core Intel processor capable of hyperthreading, which effectively makes it a 12-core processor. Combine that with a bunch of RAM and this inexpensive computer really scoots along! I marked "Ease of use" as 4 stars only because it would have been great if the chassis supported two SATA drives without modification.

For my use it is fast and easy to operate. Would buy again.
